Topical Estrogen Blockers?????

pryncess

New member
Is there any such thing as a topical estrogen blocker??? Everytime I try to shave some bodyfat my boobs disappear and my ass stays the same size. I even tried Yohimburn but with no luck. Any suggestions?

You're just female. In women there is an obvious preference to store fat in the hips and butt, the so called gluteal-femoral region. In men fat is preferentially stored in the abdominal region.
One of the main enzymes that control fat deposition and mobilization for use as fuel is lipoprotein lipase (LPL). LPL hydrolyzes triglycerides so the fatty acids can move into the fat cell for storage. Higher levels of LPL activity mean enhanced fat deposition.

LPL activity is increased primarily by insulin and decreased primarily by catecholamines. Studies have looked at the response of LPL to norepinephrine (NE), a catecholamine, in both nonpregnant and lactating women. In nonpregnant women the LPL is much less sensitive to the effects of NE than in lactating women. In other words, in the nonpregnant state it is much harder to mobilize fat for burning than in the lactating state.

This has led researchers to postulate that the characteristics of gluteal-femoral fat in women are an evolutionary adaptation designed to ensure that there is plenty of fat available for both the mother and the infant (in the form of milk fats) after pregnancy.

In men on the other hand abdominal fat is relatively easily mobilized and according to this theory (no doubt postulated by a male) readily available for fuel during fight or flight situations the male would be more likely to encounter.

The insulin being too much or too little? My blood sugar's really good--I've never seen it over 90 and that's like right after pigging out on jellybeans on an empty stomache. I get bad lows though--all spacey and crap, once a day usually???

I'm kinda on the pill--same stuff (low dose) but you insert it, lasts for a month but just started that--butt problem has been there um since puberty?

Do you think over the counter creams are efficient enough or is there some prescription thing I should be looking for? Either way--any names to look for would be appreciated.

I'm not really trying to lose wt just target fat loss. I know, long live the dream! Last time I tried went from 115 to 105 (5'3") and I swear lost two cup sizes. Made myself go back to 112 and luckily boobs came back but I don't want to keep chancing--that was the most drastic I had ever seen and am afraid that fat might go land elsewhere next time if I keep screwing around.

Anyway--thx for the response.

and the age old question....
What is your diet like EXACTLY
9.99999999 times out of 10 if your body is hanging onto fat especially with yohimburn the problem can be traced back to diet.
My guess would be by "insulin problem" he was talking about a sensitivity problem which can be improved with diet.

???

Not sure how to answer that (diet part)--I'm not into the body building thing myself but I think it's amazing what you all do and how you are able to perfect things.

I try the cutting diets from time to time cause I figure if they can could help some guy at 8% and some chick at 14% get down just another 2-3%--they can get some off of me at 19%. I'm not saying they don't work, only the fat comes a tiny bit from my arms and from my thighs and my boobs--anywhere than from where I want it to.

Nandi12 I know what your saying but this drastic boob change has only been occuring for a little under a year--I mean sure, if you drop your pounds your gonna take a little off the top but seriously from a C to an A (barely) in one month.

My normal eating is not bad--I maintain quite well by eating low GI carbs about 25% fat (healthy fat always) 35% lean protein. I go out to eat like twice a week and just have whatever I feel like then but it's I'm by no means unbuttoning my pants to squeeze dessert in either.

I get inspired by reading when people are cutting and have tried the CKD myself--figured if it could get you all (usually already at a very lean bf% down a little it could certainly take a little from my 19%. I'm not saying it didn't work, lost 2% (1 mo) but measurements in the butt area didn't change a bit. Even if I would've seen like .5" or something would've kept going but the goal wasn't really to lose fat, it was to lose it from that spot and certainly not to make it look worse by leaning out a little more everything else around it.

I may have just started posting recently but I've been reading this site for almost two years plus a bunch of Dan Duchaine's stuff and have tried a couple of the lesser evils over time. I'm not willing to take a leap into something drastic, I'm just aggrevated and hoping somebody can offer some advice. It's not how to lose fat that's stumping me it's how to get it off of my butt.

The best results I've had were just recently after reading the Fat Fast Experiment (Broch?). I used one spray of Androsol/day to counter muscle loss and in a week took off .75" from the evil area and .5" on each thigh and nothing in the boobs (1 week seriously and lost 3% total). That's great and all, only think my Leptin levels were at lowest point ever. Wasn't having carb cravings even or hunger pains was just wanting to binge on like the stuff I was already eating--I've never been like that was a little wierd and unsettling plus I couldn't harldly sleep the whole time(no fat burners or stimulants either).

I'm leary about the Adrosol. I can't seem to find any guidlines or anything for chick use anywhere and that's the first time I've ever used anything to up test. I guess that's why I thought it might have been an excess or bad estrogen thing and was looking for something targeted more for women then men.

I ordered some estrogen creme they make for guys umm wanting to be girls--it grows them boobs. It's prescrip, not some gimmick from some wacked out company. There was some blurb about how women could use it too to increase breast size. That's not my goal but was thinking if I tried CKD or something and used the creme--might prevent them from disappearing.

I'm obviously willing to experiment here but I'm entering uncharted waters without research findings or even personal experiences to make a good judgement from. Prohormones are made for guys and that's who talks about them usually. The creme I'm not overly worried about except if the estrogen increases estrogen supply all over--that would be bad I'm sure and will try to figure out before I actually test. I'm not saying I'm against anyones sound rational advice either--I know alot, doesn't mean I know it all and I'm sure I've missed some things along the way. Thx everyone!

OK so with that background and knowing I am not as innocent as you might have thought from the original post--I'd still love to hear anything you have to say dieting wise and on limits with the Adrosol or the creme or even rumored experiences. There's not alot of info on the inbetween stuff as it relates to women--it's either really soft or really hard stuff I usually see.:mix:

I don't know how the estrogen cream works exactly... if its script perhaps the same way androgel does for men which means that it will boost estrogen levels in your whole body, not just your boobs. If you are trying to get rid of lower body fat then that is NOT what you want to do. I may have missed it but are you on BC pills??? How long did you use the yohimburn for??? For me the lower bodyfat doesn't start to go until I am REALLY lean everywhere else.

Pryncess, I still think your body is just responding naturally to caloric restriction. If you don't think a woman can go from C to A in a month you should read the book "A Woman's Place" by Arlene Blum, about the first women's expedition to Annapurna. High altitude accelerates fat loss, and the team members were complaining that their breasts shrunk to nothing (almost literally) while the altitude hardly put a dent in their hips.

Breast tissue has much lower LPL activity than gluteal-femoral fat (during lactation the situation is reversed) so you are genetically determined to lose breast size before you lose fat anywhere else.

As was pointed out, a prescription estrogen cream will deliver estrogen to your whole body, not just your breasts.

It's not a pill, it's the NuvaRing--you insert it for 3 weeks, remove for 1, repeat. It gives even doses of the same stuff in the low dose pills--only real difference is the EVEN dose part. If I don't get enough estrogen I get pd for LONG time and always inbetween throughout the month. The normal pills most girls take don't work for me because they step down your estrogen each wk--that means each wk I get get my pd (light) for a couple days and again (heavy) on the 3 & 4 wks. I tried the progesterone IUD but ended up with my pd ALL the time--had it removed in 6 mos.

Is there someway to increase LPL activity there??? And while I believe anything KB makes is a scam--anybody tried that stuff that is supposed to save your boobs while you lose wt???

I know it's a female thing but am I just stuck with it?? I used the yohimburn for three wks (5days on/two off/2x's a day) while losing that ten pounds I first mentioned. I only bought it because of everybody's positive remarks and the fact that I used to be much bigger in that area and cycling MD6 helped take alot of inches off. I want to get 2" off but umm have been trying (on/off) for 2yrs now and this past year only to end up with the biggest boob scare ever! I think the Yohimburn didn't work because I there was two much fat there, like you said, works better when it's just a slight layer of fat.

I had 3" to lose then--now two thanks to Brock's little experiement 2.25" but I don't know enough about Andro and women to feel comfortable using it as a tool plus the low leptin thing was a bit wierd for me--what you all must go through with such lean body weights, I have even greater respect for experiencing now. I have bromo but I don't think I will use, that bit about being used for fertility scares the hell out of me--ummm the thought of having a child at this point in my life is just not cool. Also am too afraid to use MD6 again for fear my butt is so damn stubborn will most definately remove.

Intuitively I think the same thing about the cream as Temple01. Was more of an impulse buy when I read the words I wanted to hear and was ordering other stuff anyway so just went for it. I won't use unless I can find enough info--I don't really want to grow a third one or anything either : )

Nandi12--thx for the book info, does it give you some science too? I'm just curious to find out if you let your boobs go would it come from the bottom area afterwards, because it had no boobs to go after and what happened to different chix with different body shapes? I will check it out either way, just more of a sciency type person. Anyone think DIM might help?
