too much protien?

Because doctors know everything about BBing. BBing is extreme in all areas and eating extreme amounts of food and protein is no exception but to each there own. If you want to look like a guy who takes in 250 grams a day then so be it i perfer to look like a guy who can easily demolish a small cow!

The metabolic pathways of protein are a bit confusing, at least to me. From what i understand, excess amino acids can be converted to acetyl CoA, and then converted to fat. I'm sure it would be hard to put your finger on an exact number on how much is too much, but it's safe to say that if you're eating 400g of protein a day you may may see some fat storage.

I've been eating shitloads of protein for years, and my kidneys are doing perfectly fine. If you already have kidney problems, too much protein might be dangerous, but protein itself will rarely cause kidney problems. There are no studies correlating high protein intake with kidney problems, as far as I know.

Your body can absorb as much protein as you put into your body. Some of it might be expelled through your urine and in other ways, but most of it is absorbed. If you eat 100g of protein in one meal, it will simply sit in your intestines while it is slowly being absorbed, whether it takes one hour or three. It's not like there's a magical number after which your body suddenly says: 'Oh no! We have too much protein in this meal! Let's magically get rid of some.'

Savage you are right in the fact that exccess protein can be converted into lipid profiles. Yet you are out of line when stating "if you're eating 400g of protein a day you may may see some fat storage." this is dependant on body mass. If you are 165lbs then yes above 400 grams you may see some fat gain. Yet if you are pushing the 240-260 mark and handling your buisness in the gym then 400-500 grams is ideal.
