Too much cardio...

Deciever

New member
How much cardio would be considered too much cardio.. cause lately i've been getting back into BMX, and have been street riding and jumping my bike almost every night. Im sure this is too much , especially for a powerlifter, but how much cardio should i be doing if any?

I don't think to many of us get on the treadmill if you know what i mean. sled dragging is about all i do for cardio

alright good.. i dont want to hinder my gains too much.. and i'll make sure i keep on eating .. right now im eating a bunch of , healthy, nutritious, girlscout cookies

If you enjoy biking go out and do it. Doing alot of cardio can slow down gains but enjoying your life is the most important thing so you'll just have to set priorities.

Any type of cardio WILL make you weaker, but it's better to enjoy yourself like Adam said. And if you see your not gaining anything at all then cut back on your practices as long as your making gains your good.

yeah im a kid... i can do anything i want and still make gains .. haha the joys of high testosterone level and youth...

"Any type of cardio WILL make you weaker"
i dont think this statement has any truth to it.

please elaborate, and explain.

sled draging is given as an exercise because it is sort of "sport specific" allowing the hamstrings to recieve blood flow.....it is still a type of "cardio"
