too long on anavar?

The first time I ran winny, I did tabs and forget how much I ran but I did run for 12 weeks, the bf at the time monitored it. However, I added in t3 to this cycle and was away as fitness director of a "fat camp" and my calories were extremely low. Hence, why I probably had muscle wasting. I was only eating about 1900 calories a day and working out with the kids for 5+ hours a day. Then getting my lifting in at night. I really lost a lot of strength and size.

The second time I ran winny, I ran zambons for 8 weeks at 25mg twice a week. This time I started really noticing knee pain. But it was tolerable, just noticable.

The third time I ran the winny (same dose), t3 and gh. My hair fell out like crazy and I noticed my strength actually go down. So I blamed it on the t3 for the strength decrease. The knee pain from the winstrol became so bad, I struggled to make it 6 weeks before I discontinued use. Continued to run t3 and gh.

This was all over the course of 2 1/2 years. I listened to the ex-bf the first time around and didn't question anything. then I started doing my own research and realized my first cycle was probably wayyy too aggressive, but had no sides so I was lucky.

How did you run the T3 and GH and for how long? The hair falling out could have been the winny T3 combo rather then just the T3.

Winny is so hard on the jouints I have only run it at a max of 10mg a day the strength gains on that is unlike anything else I have ever taken but like you found it very hard on my joints. I did do a contest prep where I cycled winny and var. I would do two weeks of winny at 10mg then switch to two weeks var at 10mg this lessend the joint pain.

The first time I ran t3 I ran 8 weeks. Again, per the ex bf's advice. And he had me work up to 75mcg/day before I tapered back down. (this was prior to me doing any research myself on it) I'm very confused on t3 because everything I read says don't use t3 for very long and my friend helping me prep for my show now wants me to run it the full contest prep still working up to 75mcgs. I have it, just scared to even touch it because of the previous experience.

I ran GH for about 5 months. I used nutropin AQ for 2 months and then switched to serostim because it was easier for me to mix then use the pre mixed stuff before the shelf life of the AQ expired after I opened. I played around with dosages of this. The boy wanted me on 2iu's a day and that is what I started at, but dropped down to 1iu after the AQ was gone. As for the t3, I didn't take it as long with this combo(mostly from being afraid of losing muscle and the horror stories I have heard about it messing up your thyroid). I only worked up to 50mcgs this time around. Again, even with the gh and winny I noticed my strength go down when I added in t3. Maybe I was losing weight and that's why the strength went down or maybe it was muscle. I'm not really sure.

What are your thoughts on running the T3 for contest prep? If I choose to run it, when should I add in and how long?

If you were at 25mg on Winny and the sides were not to bad there is a slim chance that you will get any sides at all from running 10mg of var even if it was 5-6 months. Most post show rebound is more from what you eat right after rather then what you have taken. The exception of course being diretics but even then if your very carefull with water intake etc you can minimize that as well.

Because I am afraid of rebound, I already have a plan of action as far as food is concerned mapped out for the weeks following the contest. So this give me a little hope that I'll be able to minimize the sides. Thanks!

Welcome to EF!

I've never used anything hormonal other than DHEA before, but if your strength is going down on-cycle, I would think that something is wrong.

I realize that strength goes down while dieting, but augmenting strength is one of the purposes of the anavar so you can conserve muscle mass, correct?

My opinion is to stay safe and stick with the anavar only and don't mess with anything else other than OTC fat burners and your usual support supplements (vitamins, liver support etc.). If you lost strength/muscle with the T3 before, I'd definitely stay away from it.

You know your own body better than the trainer does.

Best wishes -

75mcgs was a high dose of t-3 to work up to.
also you were in contest prep mode, your gonna lose strenght and muscle reguardless
so it is hard to pin the loss on t-3 winnie and gh being you were dieting down.

t-3 does cuase rapid amino acid turn over cuasing muscle to build quicker at a low does or pretty much a normal functioning thyroid
to much t-3 and not enough protien you will see ,muscle loss. Keeping protien super high you can pretty much keep the muscle ,burn the fat but you will still loose " weight " due to gylcogen depletion and dehyration in the contest prep as you cut carb and calories over all to lose the last few lbs. No steroid can save every ounce of muscle becuase muscle weight will drop just from being so low in fat and water .
Muscle is made up of alot of water and gylcogen ( sugars for fuel ).

You will always rebound after any contest or what you think is rebound as the body tries to return to normal bodyfat levels the body will over compensate by storing extra fat , water and aminos in the muscle becuase it feels that it just starved for so long it wants to be sure it has enough nutrients stored incase it happens again. usually after a few months your body relizes the danger of starvation is not a issue anymore and it starts to level off and you return to a more normal athletic look vs being a little chubby

I would only suggest the t-3 at 25 mcgs daily and var . The diet is gonna be the key to getting ripped and lean for the show
and contest prep is not just learned over night it will take many times of dieting down , carbs loads, carb depletions, sodium loads soduim depletions, water depletions , vitamin and mineral amounts , food timming . Rarley does anyone ever get it right the first few times . If they ever get it right at all

also about the var, var does need to be used atleast 4-5 months to see soild gains that stick around awhile after use.
the first few months ladies report fat loss in the midsection and lower back ,with some tightening up but being on 5-10mg it will take awhile for notcible muscle gains that are measureable on a tape measure to really take affect.
