As for the Lasix. It is a dangerous drug in that it can couse serious metabolic disturbances (namely, potassium depletion) as well as serious dehydration and I absolutely hate to give it to anyone. On the other hand, healthy young women with no renal problems seldom have such problems and so long as you keep up your water and potassium intake, it might offer a temporary "quick-fix".
