I talk with a bunch of swedes, finns, and dutchies all the time in IRC. When they start going off in any of their native languages, I can't tell which language is which. So from my point of view, all ya'll have fucked up languages

Dutch is quite similar to German (but not in the grammatical sense, where German is like 10x harder). If you know one, you can understand the other.

But never tell a Dutch or a Deutsch this... they all hate it.
