Tito Ortiz VS Vitor Belfort; who will win?

Although I would like to see Vitor win, I think that Tito might take it. Tito is more consistent in his intensity as far as fight preparations go. Although Tito lost to Chuck Liddell from a barrage of strikes, and Vitor is known to be an intense striker, I think that Tito won't let it happen twice. He probably learned alot from his fight with Liddell, and knows what to expect from Vitor. Vitor, on the other hand, has been known to be a powerful striker, but inconsistent in his abilities from fight to fight. He can look invincible in one fight, and lackluster in another. Of course, there have been rumors about how Vitor's fast lifestyle has affected his fighting ability in the past. Hopefully, he will be on top of his game on Saturday. Although Vitor is known to have a devastating ground game, I think Tito will want to take it to the ground. If it goes to the ground quickly, and after every period, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the time limit with Vitor defending from the guard the majority of the time. Thats what I THINK will happen. What I HOPE will happen is we see a war with plenty of striking and spectacular groundfighting, with someone getting knocked the f*ck out!!!
But like I said earlier, I'm going for Vitor, but would bet on Tito.

People think Vitor is so awesome, but against the best he always gets his ass schooled.

Vitor supposedly has a great ground game, but has never shown much imo. Tito on the other hand is known for taking people to the ground and pounding on them.

The only reason Tito got knocked out by Chuck(who is one of my fav's, more so than Tito) is because he wanted to stand up with Chuck to prove he was man enough to do it.

I think Tito will be smart enough to take it to the ground and use his bigger size and weight to keep Vitor their or keep bringing him their for the most part and slowly pound him down and win by a decison.

That's what's gonna happen unless Vitor pulls a freak quick win out of his ass like he's known to do from time to time.

Tito had no problem dealing with Elvis Sinosic's BJJ and Elvis' BJJ was good enough to submit Jeremy Horn. I think Vitor managed to submit Joe Charles back in the day, but he has no other submission wins I can think of offhand. I don't think Tito will try to trade with Vitor and I don't think Vitor has takedown defense that is adequate to avoid the ground.

If Vitor wins he'll do it before the middle of the second round. If Tito wins he'll get either a decision or a ref stopage in the late second ot third round... One thing you have to give Tito is the guy has amazing stamina. If Vitor walks in there lacking in conditioning he'll get eaten up.

Thanks oak. Nothing there really exciting. I think lately, Pride has more big fights per event than UFC. I mean, I know Sylvia, Arlovski, Tanner, & Baroni, but the rest are unknown to me. I think UFC puts all their publicity into 1 fight per event (Ortiz/Belfort), I'd like to see more big fights per event.

Parysian/Lytle should be good. Sylvia/Arlovski will be quick and could easily go either way. Anyone who hasn't seen Dave Terrell is in for a treat. The guy is probably America's best no-gi grappler and can punch like a mule can kick. I have total respect for Nick Diaz, he exemplifies the warrior spirit, but do not know of his opponent, Drew Fickett.

The one thing that was lame about Chuck vs Tito is Chuck got a thumb in Tito's eye. Chuck did it to Vernon too but obviously that didn't break his eye socket but before the punch that did you can see Chuck throwing a right hook with his palm sideways and his thumb out.
