That being said...

I remember my freshman year... where I bounced between varsity and JV based on the results of the weekly wrestle off for 167. I was at a JV tournament in a semi final match and much respect to the kid. I had him in an arm bar half nelson and he went rigid, like he was taught, and I was never one for Matt talk but I told him to "let it go" because I knew I was going to have to "muscle it." He resisted to the end but I turned and pinned him but he suffered a neck injury in the process, I followed up and it wasn't serious.For a while I felt a bit of guilt about the outcome but I realized that I would have done the same in his position fully knowing the risk.
