That is the exception not the rule. Don't get me wrong I like MMA but for the most part these guys come from nothing and have nothing but fighting. I agree with Lartino's to an extent that most of these guys have a chip on there shoulder from something that drives them to fight..

Martial artists that compete at the level Tito has don't dedicate their lives to the sport because of "a chip on their shoulder".
The elite MMA competitors come from as varied backgrounds as you would find in any other profession to include: Chuck who has a Accounting degree, Franklin was a former high school math instructor, and BJ who comes from a multi-millionaire family.

I was sad when I heard this. I actually like Tito always have. As for Jenna she is not just some dumb whore she is the richest female in the history of porn. It takes some brains to do that.

I disagree. I would say that about bodybuilders, yes...most recreational bodybuilders are bouncers / security guards, etc....no education or little education and no taste of a corporate life or a decent job

Fighters on the other hand, a lot of them do not fit the 'norm' as you put it...

Look at Jon "Bones" Jones, look at GSP, look at Franklin, highschool teachers, math teachers, scholarship studetns, brilliant engineers and architects, all who have turned pro fighters because of the money, fame and love of the sport.

Trust me, the stereotypes are many, but not all fighters are like kimbo

LOL so is Wulfgar a bum? How about the short one she has her own business with her husband also into BB? I know a lot of BB that have there own business male and female. I know one guy that used to be a mayor just north of Toronto. Two guys I know work in IT one at a major bank the other at a major telco. I have another friend that is an engineer. A lot of the guy I know that compete are cops.

Ben Pakulski has a kinesiology and economics degree. Lou Joseph has a computer science degree and sells real estate. I could go on pretty sure I proved my point.

That is not to say there is not a lot of low level BBers out there doing GFP but bouncing LOL yeah not so much more GFP then any real kind of work.
