Getting sick of eating eggs. Any suggestions for 1st meal of the day/pre work out? Right now I'm just eating a banana and 1 cup of oatmeal.

i never get sick of eggs thats my staple 3 dozen a week lol....dont eat em first meal of the day to often tho
shit im hungry think ill go scramble up some now

oh man im so sick of eggs too, i usually rotate between poached, scrambled, fryed in evoo, and omlettes, that stops it being so bad

put a few in a shake for an easy one.

if you want to get fancy try a steak and egg stromboli. make dough from whole grain flower, a pinch of salt, and hot water. partially scramble the eggs, partially cook the chip steak then put the 2 in the dough with orange cheese and catsup fold the dough over coat it with evoo and grated cheese and bake it at 400 for 15mins.

or try cooking them with red skin potatoes, peppers, onions, and turkey sausage.

Yea, Im sick of eggs. There was another thread same as this recently, lol.

I think I might start getting those cartons of egg whites and just dumping them in shakes or pounding them straight.

I have been poaching 5-6 at night before bed. I only keep one yolk. I mix them in a bowl with 1 piece of wheat bread. That's the best before bed snack ever. I am trying to lose a few lbs and this keep me from getting too hungry and binging.

hell, just mix it up. Throw some salsa in there with them. Make extra steak the night before and have steak and eggs, Different omellets, etc etc.

Eggs rule!

Thats gross i save my eggs for later on during the day i dont wanna be belching or ripping sulpher bombs at the gym

eggs are awesome, you just gotta know how to make em good. i like mine fried (sunny side up), 5 whole eggs plus 4 extra egg white for breakfast with some tabasco sauce, break all the yolks and mix em up. its good, i eat that for my first and last meal evey day. i eat about 12 dozens a week.

if youre sick of eggs, you can always throw in a shake, 2 scoops of whey with your oatmeal and banana meal

I started laughing when I read this. I am 34 and have eaten a dozen eggs whites a morning since I was a junior in college...:chomp: JUMBO egg whites at that....

I hear you, my husband downs them raw every morning, he likes it because it's over with in 30 seconds and supposedly healthier than heating them as long as he doesn't get salmonella. Been doing it for years now.

From what i have read and researched, its actually not healthy to eat eggs raw because your body cant digest it right. a healthier choice would be buying liquid eggs that have been proncessed through a machine and cooked to a certain degree (i believe its 160-170 degrees) to ensure proper digestion and to ensure it can safely be cooked or drank right out of the carton. check out lana's egg whites.

I use the Egg Beaters from Costco.

I do about 5 eggs worth, 2 large tablespoons of a nice spicy Green chile, a few small pieces of steak (presliced, precooked in the bag from costco) and a handful of spinach. I throw that all in and scramble.

Then right before its done I toss in a slice of cheese, some black pepper and a dash of Garlic powder.

ALL GOOD. Its about 60 grams of great protein to start my day.

You could always just chug an uncooked carton of egg beaters.. I did this a few times and it was so convenient. It was probably not smart especially since it was uncooked, but the one with peppers really went down smooth.. It was such a fast process.. 4 gulps I could care less the way I ate them. On the cooking side, I get this hot sauce called texas dew drops and put them on the whites that are cooked.. when I get bored I up the anty and add more heat.. more eat more exciting.. well of course if you like hot food. haha.

been there. eggs are so versatile though.

try masterpiece bbq sauce on them scrambled. very good!

I mix 1 cup egg whites with 1 whole egg and 1/2 to 1 cup of oatmeal or flax meal and lots of cinnamon.
Stir it up and cook it like a big pancake. A little spray butter and sf syrup.
