Tire Flip shoes...

Night Fly

New member
Okay...I was flipping my tire in some Asics that I have...but...after flipping in them so much they are worn out. I actually slipped last weekend when I was about 8 flips in to a 100 ft. distance.

What shoes should I wear for the flip at the nationals next weekend? B...you have seem my selection of shoes in my closet. What do you recommend?

OH...and are you going to be there?

You know that I suggest wearing rock climbing shoes...but you don't have any. They give you lots of grip and will NOT slip. Wear something tight and practice with them.

You KNOW I want to be there...just not sure it is possible at the moment.

I know the rock climbing shoes would work...but like you said I don't have any. Should I just go with some regular tennis shoes or what? Maybe boots? lol...who knows.

Very tight shoes...maybe push your car early this week and see how that feels...in different shoes. You need mobility and flexibility in them too...

You've seen my selection of shoes, but yet still aren't suggesting anything.

Well, I always thought that your bare feet were the prettiest...but I like cute little toes.

You could put tacky on your feet...:)

Not for sure if I remember all of the shoes that you have girl. I do know that most of the ones you have...like the red ones...are fairly loose on you. You don't want that. You want them tight on you so that you can get good leg drive without your feet slipping.

You might want to contact Mark Shaw and ask him what size his rock climbing shoes are. He has a pair and his feet aren't a mile long like mine either. You sure you can't get you a pair of rock climbing shoes???

I could mail you a pair of my shoes...I know that you like to wear them while wearing scrubs and your little glasses while holding a beer and hugging your log. :)

If there is anything that you would need that I might have (tacky, tape, knee wraps, super glue, etc...) please let me know and I will have my family bring it up with them when they come on Friday.

You lifting this week? Cardio? Still flipping the tire?

Ingram...that would definitely be an awful site! I would kill myself! I can't even wear those things out on the weekends...lol. It would be a complete disaster.

B..I flipped the tire a lot when I went to Jill's last weekend, so I won't be doing that again until the contest.

And, yeah...I do like to wear your shoes...and your shirts! :) What can I say? I would have to agree with you on the red shoes. They are a bit lose on me. I have some decent ones that may work. I really can't afford to get me any rock climbing shoes. Especially since my contest is just next weekend. My feet would be slaughtered with blisters after that event in new rock climbing shoes. Nice thought, though? I think that I can use Dione's tacky. She didn't have a problem with it. I will email her and ask...if not...I would love to use yours.

Guess you aren't going to be able to go... :(

Speaking of scrubs...you should see the new tye dyed ones that I got last night from Katie. The kids loved them today! :)

About my lifting...I am going to lift light on Monday and Tuesday only (maybe Wednesday). I have been doing a hard 30-40 minutes of cardio everyday for the past two weeks. I think I am actually getting a bit leaner and not even trying to..lol.

Wearing my shirts? What are you thinking? lol I still wear yours...lol...as spandex...lol.

Let me know about the Tacky. I have one tub I think of my own that I keep in the fridge that I can send with the fam.

Doesn't look like I am going. I may have some friends coming into town this weekend and I have an important training day on Sunday. My contest is coming up quickly...had a VERY good training day today!!! :) I'll cheer you on from Kentucky...I have a big mouth. Just don't have the $$ right now and not sure if I should be there anyway.

Glad you are getting leaner...but I always liked you the way that you are. Always. I keep getting leaner, weighing the same, and getting stronger.
