Yep...I'm giving the Silver Chariot to my younger brother.

So I need something new. I have a few ideas, but nothing really stands out. Maybe I am overlooking something. Suggestions?

audi s4 both of these on nineteens but stock is good to
bmw 330ci
or 1999 estroil blue m3
bmw z3
mercedes CLK (amg edition none else)

trucks
bmw x5
chevy trailblazer

See - that's the thing....I don't exactly know.

I like SUV's for safety reasons, but an SUV in Florida makes no sense. My best friend just bought a Lexus GS300 and it rides very smoothly.

So I am thinking SUV or luxury car.

Thoughts?

Acura RSX Sports coupe
Acura MDX mid size SUV
Both Sweet and Very Reliable. Outstanding service

GMC ENVOY Rated #1

What price range??

As for the SUV- I really LOVE my Land Rover. Go to Carmax.com, they have a shitload of them for under $30K, all from renatal car companies with no miles on them(they were luxury rental, and everyone opted for the caddies!).

On the luxury car- look at the Lincoln LS, that's what I want to get this summer, but wife to be wants the Jaguar X-Type!

Where in FL are you??

so you want luxury go with a 1999 up 5 series , you cant beat it luxury, power and drop dead gorgous:D the after market wheel companys for the bmw"s are nothing less than stellar not those cheezy racing wheels or anything im talkin bout the three piece. ac schintzer, bbs, dvr, just to name a few

He's in Jacksonville, bro. That would end up being a long-distance relationship, so I would forget about pursuing his booty.

Audi A4 Turbo...my dad just got one and the new model is really nice...good, safe car that's easy on the eyes...

BMW X5, loaded though, with the biggest wheels possible that comes in the premium package, thats the only way it looks good IMO.

Range Rover- Loaded

M5 BMW

Lexus GS 300

Things of That Nature. With those rides you can drive to Fayeteville and pimp into the parking lot of Books a Million like a true player should.

Thanks for the tip, however unnecesary it may be.

I was merely going to say that if he was in Orlando, or Miami there are Carmax Stores there.

PS- no need to be bitchy, just cause May is banned, and your daily homo-erotic masterbation sessions with him have stopped.

Price Range is wide open. I won't spend $250K on a Ferrari, but I have had some success with my book and it is time to reward myself. Tarzan I think you summed it up about right.

Thick Dog - I drove the IS 300. I don't fit in it, and I wasn't really that impressed.

Havoc - I think the X5 is ugly. Same with the MDX.

I like the Land Rovers.....

Matt drive a Land Rover and you'll be sold- Bumper to Bumper 60K warranty- Harmon Kardon Sound system, all time 4WD, traction control, self leveling rear suspension- it ROCKS!!

Have the dealership take you on their test track!!

Lexus is dollar for dollar the best buy you can make. Design and handling are great. But if you can afford it, go with a Benz.

if you are willing to drop $70K then an M5 is a ridiculously pimp ride with 400 horse. would definitely be a nice treat for yourself if are wanting to reward hard work. the GS300 is nice but you'll end up wanting the GS430 if you test drive both. but then you'll appear to have one upped your buddy's ride. the LS430 is equally hard although now you're getting up around $60K for one of those, but you're not even 30 yet and that car screams "old man." take a look at the acura 3.2 TL Type S...you can get into for for low 30s and it would most likely fit you and is a very nice looking car with good power. i personally loathe SUVs so i'm not going to throw out suggestions on that...but havoc speaks the truth about an X5 looking good but needing at least 18" to 20"s on it. that car looks like just another SUV without decent rims. ummm...a non M-class 5 series BMW would be cool if you want to go that route. and the Mercedes E-class is a good looking ride that's a step above the entry level C class which isn't all that big, but not quite as pimp as the S Class.

you could always just say "fuck it" and pick up a porsche 911

This is what I think you should go for. A luxury car with excellent power and handling.

Lexus GS430- 300 HP and very luxurious
BMW 540i- If you want excellent handling you have to test drive this car
Audi S4-250 HP with 6 speed and a simple chip upgrade will put you at 300 HP

Bigger luxury cars you can look at are the:
Mercedes S-Class
BMW 740
Infiniti Q45
Audi A8

For super luxury car you can go with the monstrous M5 with 400HP or a Mercedes E55 AMG or the 2002 BMW M3 which is just as fast as the M5 and will cost you about $60,000.

I also like the Mercedes CLK430's

Do you like any of my suggestions?

It's already been said above - BMW. Series and options dependant upon your needs/requirements.

Later,

I'm just a girl so my opinion don't mean sh*t but I think there is nothing sexier than a man In a Jeep Wrangler with the top down, shirt off (only if you have the body for it) and a ball cap on. yummy......................

ahhhh your one of those jeep **uker girls... Do also like it when they have the college team keychain hanging down to there ankle? lol I never understood what girls see in those guys...

My town is full of those. No offense to anyone here that's one, the only reason i don't like these people is because where i'm from where those people are complete stuckup assholes. Not because they drive a jeep and have long key chains.

dont really care about the key chain but I just have a thing for the "frat boy" look. But I guess if you live up north ridding around in a Jeep isn't very practical. I love the scene in Austin. Those are my kinda guys!

My sister has a Jeep Wrangler as well as her Civic. If I want to borrow the Jeep, I will.

The M5 is beautiful, but they are hard to come by. Wait list?

FreakMonster: The GS430 or the LS400 is a great ride, but it feels like you are driving around in your living room. That's the car for a 55 year old. (No offense Wodin and Ranger).

I am going to look at the CLK 430 and the S-class...

well if you think driving around in an LS or GS is like driving around in your living room and it's for 55 year olds...that S-Class Benz trumps both of those rides in that aspect. Have you sat in one before? It's ridiculously nice. And I don't think I've ever seen anyone under 40 year old driving one. Don't get me wrong, I'd drive the shit out of one, but your comment struck me as funny.

the CLKs are cool but i have no idea what they were thinking with the nasty stock rims they put on them. just don't get the periwinkle blue one with dark blue top. i believe that model comes with panties installed in the driver's seat.

i drive and love my new mercedes slk 230 compressor. had a suv i gave to my brother for xmas and that was fine but this car is excellent. very small so not practical (nor am I). TT is a tin as is the boxster. (test drove both).

Flexed - I won't drive an Audi. My teacher in 5th grade had one and she ruined me to that brand.

Super - I see what you are saying, but I have observed a difference between the S-class and the big Lexus. With the big Lexus, it feels like it was designed to be your living room, whereas the S500 (for example) seems like it was designed for performace and happened to turn into a living room....does that make sense?

You're right though - these are not vehicles where under 40 is the target audience..

"live like that"...LOL only because I am still at work here on a Friday night, and wuill be until 10PM or so.....15 hour day....average. Also will be spending most of the week working on my book, and developing my other business - education consutling.

Trying to find the time to look at some commercial real estate this weekend as well. May have found a really good deal.

So as far as "living like that" - I am not sure which you mean.

The Lexus GS and LS are in teh mid 60s. The S-class can range into the 80s or more.

Meaning that you have a great job and you are secure, not some college guy living at home with his mama. Thats what i mean by living like that.

infinity Q45 is a sweet car, that no one has...be an original

has anyone mentioned the yugo yet?
or the chevy geo?

both excellent choices - for the money of the cars that some of these were saying, you could get probably 10 chevy geos and then just leave them scattered about town.
great in cities.

*doh - by geo I meant the geo metro that is now some chevy thing

Very nice Velvett...it;s on the list.

Oldsmobile Firenza... although the last model was made in 1985... it makes a wonderous station wagon...
C
