This quote sums up the entire reason I train

Just wanted to share it with you guys/gals:

Each day upon entering the weight room you demonstrate a desire for excellence that makes you someone special. Special, because few people possess the dedication and strength of heart required to regularly work hard at something this difficult. Upon completion of each workout, you can and should feel proud, for you have just moved one step closer towards reaching your full potential and the ultimate goal of and being the best you can be. — Mike Berry

Yes, I love the feel good factor from leaving the gym. One of my friends even has a theory that one of the reasons some Bros overtrain is because they are addicted to the rush and feel good factor associatyed with grinding out that last rep, r going a Kilo or two heavier that they ever did before and suceeding. I have been training a few years now and to wake up feeling good, achieving my personal goals in the gym, never been completely satisifed as I immediately set new ones, and thinking "wow, that was an hour well spent" makes it all worthwhile.

We were born with the ability to produce endorphins so we might as well make the most of it.

It's a special feeling of a job well done.

I've noticed that this endorphins-serotoninergic feel-Good mood is easier achieved through quite high intensity cardio

With weight training you can easily fry your CNS and miss this nice feeling

Good quote killah.

People tell me how dedicated I am and how much will power I have going to the gym. I don't get it. Most of the time I get exicted as the workday winds down because it's getting closer and closer to gym time. Diet takes dedication and will power. Lifting is just FUN.

Concur 100%, especially now that I'm doing more 'technical' lifts, like deads, squats and the other staples in the 5 x 5.

Learning to do these right, having to practice and finally getting the form and then putting up some weight is fun. Can't wait to learn power cleans and suchlike.

Dumbell curls and tricep extensions - while I've done my share and probably will again - just aren't that fun.
