We have to remember that due to Bush we have lost credibility and cooperation around the globe. Many nations looks down on the US and Iran is one of those nations. If we all were more understanding of their culture and aware of their needs perhaps they would not look down on us. We shouldn't be so divisive, especially during a time when unity is needed so much.

This is how the Govt keeps instilling fear in the populace. It's no shocker that every new generation gets more and more westernized. And the powers that be have to slowly relent more and more freedoms just to prevent revolution.

In exchange, they do public executions to announce 'don't forget who's in control here' - just to keep society in check. That is all.

Society should never fear Govts - Govts work for them. Slowly, unfortunately, we are becoming very similar to them. Sad because this is not how this country was founded.
