think US customs is getting tougher?

New member
I was able to use one address for over a year, but finally got a package seized back in January. That address was flagged and 2 other packages that were on their way also got snagged. I am using a new addy now. There is part of an order that I am waiting on now that is taking longer than it should to get here and I am afraid they have struck again. If I have to open up a new PO box, anyone have any ideas of how I might keep my box at the same store but just change the box number? What would I tell the clerk at the front desk. Guess I am not very creative. There are not alot of PO box businesses around here, and I do not want to use the local post office.
I suppose in the near future we might all have to start using domestic sources if things continue the way they are. this will surely drive up prices. thanks to the US gov!

I think if they flag your adress and you go get a Box wouldnt they flag the box too because they have your name flaged along with the adress?

That might be a possibility, but I do not think so. Anyhow, in my case I used a fictitious business name for my address. I just hope that customs isnt going to get so tight that hardly nothing gets through.

Yeah but dont they ask for an ID at the box when you sign up for it?At least in the U.S I thought you had to show proper ID to open up a box?

yeah, that is right, but the business does not turn in your information to US customs. Just imagine the mountain of paper work that would create for the government! Customs has no idea its me, unless they follow a paper trail to bust me with a controlled delivery. Hardly likely when its just personal use.

Ok so make bogus business name then show I.D then their not gona track that shit even if I had an adress flaged under my name before?

Only way the stuff wont get through is if you get unlucky enough to have the package detected at customs and searched. If they search it and find the stuff, chances are all they will do is send you a letter. I have 4 letters now,lol

LoL but if the package is big they will probably come to my house? :worried:

well, if the sender has any intelligence they will send it in several small packages. This way, hopefully if they catch a shipment it will only be part of it they catch. Also, small packages draw much less attention and are less likely to be caught. as far as what is considered small enough not to pursue for a "bust", who knows. Some people claim busts have been set up over small orders, but I find that hard to believe. Its just a risk you have to take if you want to play the game.

I definitely believe that it's getting harder to get AAS thru customs. I recently had a package seized after getting a couple thru previously. Based on my experience & what a domestic source has told me, I believe that customs now x-rays packages coming into JFK. Not sure what criteria they use to perform this, but based on what I've heard & how I know that my int'l source had previously packaged my orders, I am convinced that x-ray is the only way they would have intercepted my order.
Hopefully, I'm just being paranoid but I don't think so :(
btw: it's my understanding that they flag addys not names because names can be the same; also, an international order that was seized & results in a flagged addy can also be a problem for domestic shipment as the USPS may also have the flagged addy

I don't "think" US customs is getting tougher......I KNOW it is..

My international source went underground and won't do business now.

Until all this shit blows over, it will be S-L-O-W.........

How do you know if they flag addresses in the first place? Let alone flag them from customs to USPS?

IMO customs isn't tougher solely b/c of the whole MLB steroids scandal etc. I deal directly with legit int'l packages on a daily basis..mainly jewelry distributors in Asia. And from experience I noticed after the 90's and more so after 911 packages have just been progressivly more scrutinized at the ports year after year. I've had legit packages opened, held up, etc. I've seen friend's Persian rugs siezed b/c of proper taxes werent declared.

Surely, steroids is on their watch list and always has, but there are definitely bigger fish to fry then a few vials. Don't get me wrong they'll still bust your ass b/c it is an illegal substance but it just so happens we're made more aware of this case b/c only gear over the border is what we're interested in here.

I have friends that get shipments of fake LV, Gucci, Prada, Rolex, etc and all that knock off stuff every day and those are getting snagged too. They say the same exact thing.."the gov't is out to get us." It's just the grand scheme of things since technology is getting better and more $$ and manpower is put towards something any crime in general is harder to commit as time passes.

Well, I received packages at an address no problem for almost 2 years then I had my first package seized. During the next month 3 more packages were sezied, that was every single one I had on the way. There is noway that I just got that unlucky to have every package seized, they had flagged the address.

I was told this by a domestic source...I only have his word for it; but he said that the only delivery problems he's had are by customers who had previous int'l seizures.

Fucking Fedex tracking traked the pack all the way to the Police Dept reception desk imagine how I shit myself when it was late and then tracked it and said turned in at the PD reception desk.I am sure I just hooked up the whole dept on some nice free shit but hey fuck it if the boys want to juice up and leave me be for my stupididity then let em Ill chalk it up as a loss with pleasure and just order my cycles one cycle at a time lol not a whole 2 years worth at once lol.

holy shit,i allways use a good customs broker, but even then, you never now.the man does what he wants when he wants:(

Indirectly related to the topic, I was in Nuevo Laredo on Wedensday. I crossed twice on foot. The first time I was empty handed, the obese douche-bag asked if i was a citizen, what my job was, where i was from, and then asked if i had any meds or liquor. He made me empty one pocket and that was it. The second time through I had a small bag and didn't get harassed at all by a different agent. However, you can't draw a consensus conclusion off of 2 crossings by one gringo like myself. At any rate, I think its about the same as it has been (i've made about 20-25 runs in the past 3 years) Needless to say I got my load of gear, didn't have it on me though. As a sidenote, the border patrol station about 15 miles from the border CAN stop your car , search it, you, etc. even if you are as white as vanilla ice cream. Its very rare, but it has happened to me one time. So never get sloppy if you make a run for the border.

Nope never came knocking just tracked to the PD and that was the end of that.I sure as hell wasnt gona go there and ask for my 2 years worth of personal gear. :worried:

this is speculation and fallacy, they dont "flag" you unless you really deserve to be flagged, and incoming gear does not constitute that. Not only have I got a package seized this year, but every other package after that was delivered successfully. With that said I know many of the ICE guys, which is the combined Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. I spoke to a supervisor there about this and he confirmed what I felt. He said it's complete Bullshit, they dont care, they are more worried about their radiation detectors going off. Now yes they are getting more packages, becuase they are simply yanking more packages for random inspection. But they are not creating an address book to flag all incoming parcels, unless you are already the subject of an investigation from their agency, or another requesting the assistance with proper cause and or warrant.

Thanks for clearing things up bro. I was realy not in the mood for a lot of typing. You summed it up 100% correct. Karma your way.

As for the guy who is surprised that your PO BOX are geting snagged. Po Boxes are in a diferent category and are set aside for way more scrutiny then regular addys! Your adress is not flaged unless you are under a direct criminal investigation and they are planing to indite you. If you knew the way the system works you would look at it in a diferent way. A certain batch of adresses are picked for random inspections......there are diferent categories... It is normal for all those packs to be siezed like that ESPECIALY TO A PO BOX.

What if they seized a pack to your adress that had enough vials in it to make it a attempt to distribute package?Lets say a pack with 150 vials or so would that get the adress flagged?

No it would not, the guys on the street would charge you with distribution, not them. they have much bigger fish to fry right now, and because of what's going on, they also have more random checks to make. Getting more illegal substances is great to them in one way, but a pain in that it's more paperwork and processing while their primary objective still remains the same, so right now they view it as bitter sweet. As stated earlier if you were flagged due to prior ongoing investigation, THEN this would bite you, but it would still have to be delivered and accepted by you so look for large delays. When they do this, they get their warrants and red tape done prior to delivery, and it's not too quickly either, so a LARGE delay coming in from JFK should always be suspect.

What do you think of the USPS flagging addresses? Do you know if that happends?

I just ordered first time 3 weeks ago, still no juice... The source is well known and trusted. Perhaps my first try was siezed...

I would think that this is really how things work, at least I did until I had 4 packages seized all in a row. I went 4 years ordering internationally and never had one seizure, but then after my first one all the others got seized. If you ask me, there is noway that this was just chance. Just can't be. Nobodys luck is that bad!

Yes. I've heard from a reliable source & others on this board that they do, in fact, flag addys when they confiscate contraband.

I hear what you're saying they couldn't be flagging addresses they don't have enough time. I had 100 amps seized last year, and I don't think they flag addresses either. My pack was coming Express/Priority and it sat at customs for about 3 days, needless to say it was empty when I got it.

Well I just had my source send it regular mail and everything was fine, and it was to the same addy two weeks later.

I believe you but at the same time I'm having a really hard time figuring out how customs could have 'found' the AAS in my package that was recently seized. They would have had to literally 'dismantle' what the source hides the AAS in to have found it...that leads me to believe that customs is more sophisticated than we give them credit for & they use such techniques as x-rays to find contraband as a 'random inspection wouldn't have found it. From this point, it's not hard to make the leap to 'flagged' addys. I really wish I could be convinced otherwise as my source would be glad to resend my lost shipment for just shipping costs.

I am talking about DOMESTIC USPS...for example, lets say you get something seized coming from China, does Customs contact USPS and tell them to watch for packages coming to the house even though they are domestic?

"That leads me to believe that customs is more sophisticated than we give them credit for & they use such techniques as x-rays to find contraband as a 'random inspection wouldn't have found it."

With all due respect. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDING ME? Of course parcels are x-rayed, hand inspected, random inspected, and batch , inspected. Certain ones that is that are picked out. Or an entire few days of for example one zip code. Additionally the same workers work there...and they will look for packages looking like yours( more of them) if they discover one. That is why you have seizures. For example your Zip and al lothers within the same last two ** or prefix are targeted to all b einspected for a period of lets say 15 days. Thus all your apckages are snaged. Simple. Thats it. Believe me i know.

I give US Customs respect. They are fairly good at what they do. WTF.....Xrays....Xrays have been used for over 100 yrs.....Sophisticated techniques like X-rays....makes me want to laugh......they have very spothisticated technology there that costs hundreds of milliions..llike Ionizers erc..Cat Scan type shit.........but its for more important things then juice... For radiation, explosives, or drugs, etc.

These guys are not brain dead......if you think Customs agents are dumb and a random inspection woudlnt of found it you are severely mistaken...
Have you ever goten your car unscrewed piece by piece at the border. ( I havent personally but i know it constantly happens to people)

There is a way around everything...one side gets stronger .....the other makes a inovation ...vice versa....

If addys were flaged in the method you mention....people would not be recieving packages without any problems a few months later.

It realy matters.....you can be under investigation.if you are importing juice without a perscription.....and it looks to them as if you are some smugler....if they want they can flag you if your about to be indited etc , and they have probable cause, warant etc. I know of situations that people when trying to cross the border..at us costoms have been shown their seizures in the CPU and asked questions......then given a nice thurough inspection.

As long as you have perscriptions and remain within the law everythign will be fine. You have to understadn these guys are also woried about more important things, like radioactive material and bacteria.

OK...thanks for setting me straight. My recent int'l seizure was really my only 'contact' with customs & I admit, it kind of shook me up. I can't really afford any legal problems (who can) from incidents like this. Most of the mis-information I got concerning 'flagged' addys came from a domestic source...I assumed he knew what he was talking about. I guess I was wrong...thanks for the information.

PolfaPet has a point.

This means all you guys should be getting on HRT so you have legal scripts for AAS. It can only help.

That's the way it should be. If they are worried about a vial of smallpox, radiate every damn thing. If they are worried about 50 pound sacks of coke coming through, bring more dogs in. There's no excuse for spending the money to bust for personal use amounts of hormones.

OK...makes alot of sense. My limited understanding of HRT tells me that, in order to get a valid script I need to first get to a doc & get my test level checked. Is this the way to go about getting HRT?
btw: with my luck, I'd get a script for that topical test cream...is that even worth it? Also, is there a way to convince a doc to prescribe test injects instead of the cream?
(Don't mean to hijack this thread)

thats not the point. the point is, you at least have a script to be taking something. would be helpful if you are ever busted.

btw: with my luck, I'd get a script for that topical test cream...is that even worth it? Also, is there a way to convince a doc to prescribe test injects instead of the cream?
(Don't mean to hijack this thread)

Yes, you need to get your test levels checked via blood panels, then he'll see how low you are.

They won't give you the cream and if they do, insist on injections. It's up to you to speak up for yourself, it's your health. You don't give a reason, you just tell him you'd prefer the injectibles and that's that. It's be easier if you went to an endocrinologist, they would be more understanding to your needs, might even prescribe you some GH.

That sounds like a likely explaination as to why I had 4 packages in a row snagged by customs. Maybe after they caught my first package they flagged my zip code for a period of time. I even noticed that they caught my stuff at 2 different airports too, so they must be interconnected. I wonder if I can use that same address now again for international packages, it has been about 3 months now. I was dumb that first time to use my home address, but after doing some reading maybe that is better than a PO box? Some seemed to feel that PO boxes are more heavily scrutinized?
