True story, my world history class section II, I had a professor that claimed blitzkrieg was an economic philosophy of limited war (he is a German farming historian so you can't expect much); Completely untrue and inaccurate...I was able to quote Liddell Hart in my response on the midterm from memory because I had written a couple of papers on WWII in high school; I got a C on the exam because he had the power to assign grades. I ended up with an A in the class because I realized regurgitating what the person grading you believes is better than arguing the facts. At least when I took graduate level classes a well argued position was given credit. Basically, teaching a class doesn't make you an expert...how many papers have you published in peer reviewed journals? How many of those relate directly to the subjects you teach?
BTW, the best thing to ever come out of Youngstown State was Jim Tressel...One of my roommates attended Youngstown state before he wanted to be in a real program.
More than you I'll bet my life on it...You can come see for yourself... Open invitation to come hear me lecture. Your are not too far from YSU, are you? Don't worry I dont want to fight, you are an historian besides I would never fight over a woman especially one that I never seen before in my life. Besides YSU is crawling with hot 20 yr old Puerto Rican girls.PM me it will be fun...
