The pros and cons of never coming "off"

c gheller said:
Thank for all the input guys. I asked this because as i have mentioned in other threads before that my Doc recommends i go on HRT and presscribes me 250mg sustanon or Test E. Im on now and i must say that my quality of life right now is much better than when off with little to no test. I have done PCT after PCT and achieved nothing. My endocrinologist even put me on HCG for 3 months (good or bad i dont know), but it did jack shit. I dont know why but the thought of being on all the time kind of worries me.

If your doctor prescribed it to you, that's the way to go. HRT/TRT can be a huge postive for many people.

As you can read beforehand, I was talking about non-HRT/TRT patients, who stay on year round abusing AS.

Mine is all injectable. How long you been on it? What is it that you take?

inj. arimidex? he was talking about 1/4 tab of arimidex 2x/wk - I think you confused it a bit. I would go .25mgs arimidex E4D.

the biggest question I would have about yearround use is this:

is 1000mg a week for 6 months a year any different than 500mg a week for 12months a year? the exact same amount of gear is going through your system.

Ulter or X have you heard of Oasis Longevity and Rejuvination?

I know they have a "Liberal" HRT and TRT program.....

( feel free to edit if not approp. for the board)

If you're asking here about HRT/TRT, I advise against it. Talk to your doctor 1st, get your blood levels checked, then decide on dosing. Most TRT therapies are around 200-400mgs per week, but it's best to consult with your doctor on time-frames and dosing.

To answer your question from my prospective, yes the 1000mgs/6mo. and 500mgs/12mo is different. You should read over what Ulter was saying about dosages above, he pretty much laid it out.

And if you sit down a slam a case of beer tonight, that's the same thing as having 2 beers a week for the next 12 weeks, right? Exact same amount of alcohol is going through your system.

TRT/HRT is about maintaining a constant, healthy level of hormones in your body, and about using the lowest possible doses of exogenous hormones to do this.

A cycle is about raising the level of hormone in your body, in combination with a training/diet regime, to high levels in order to encourage a temporary state of higher anabolism.

You're talking about doing a cycle.

i don't see any advantage in coming off other than money. but with my base at 250mg test enanthate/week, i don't even see cost as an issue. the only side i could think of that will occur with a reasonable high possibility is becoming sterile but since i had a vasectomy years ago i does also not matter to me.
i do think that cycling heavy amounts harms the body more than a constant low dose of testosterone. but thats just my opinion.

this is really turning into a great thread...alot of interesting input..
for so many years we thought that injecting shitloads of gear for small periods of time then swallowing orals to try and cushion our physiological changes from ending our cycles and maintaining muscle was the only way to go.I never felt all that great doing my on/off cycles-altho the "horny" part was pretty cool. And my body always looked either too bloated or too un-muscular. Now I maintain a great looking physique year round by staying on with small/moderate dosages of different stacks changed every 4-6 months or so.The HRT really seems to work for me.
And whoever said that HRT should be used at any age had a good point. A low test level is a low test level...
