i like your setup. iron dungeon style. i wish i had a setup like that. cant wait to have a house when im older/more successful. ill have a full on gym with oldschool stuff too.
was that for d.l? are you still over/undering your grip? i think thats why your left hand feels like its floating. chances are the extreme stress on your ligament that holds the 2 forearm bones is getting some wear on it. with an overhand grip the 2 bones are side by side, with one hand supinated they cross. do you use wraps or all grip. i know the over/under tends to be better for grip (which mine sucks and i pull way less)
Yes...deadlift. Right hand is palms facing my body, left is palm facing away. I used my straps on my 725 and 800.5 sets only. My long fingers and big hands make it easy to hold onto the bar.
Off to the drawing board...need to pull in the lower to mid 8's in 5 weeks.
I will be more than happy to email you the video of me pulling 585. I did not video any of my other sets this week because I did not want anyone else in the gym while I was lifting. I have a video (1.2mb) of be finally getting 725 3 weeks ago that I'll be glad to send you too.
Hannibal has seen both videos...back me up big man.
He's pulling that weight from 18 inches or so off the ground......so comparing it to a 800lb dead from the floor doesnt work. It's still a big lift.....but there are more people that can do that than can pull 800 from the floor.
Bfold has put up a few pics of him lifting some big weights so I dont doubt that he lifted what he said he did.....and he has video evidence.....what more do you want??

no offence mate but all I see Is a guy standing near the bar. Show us the bar in mid air. Not many people can deadlift over 800lbs.
thats alot of fuckin' weight PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!! no matter how you pull it or where you pull it from, that's freakin big weight, good job,b fold...............
Just to re-cap...I missed 800.5...totally missed it. T
The top of the bar is 18" from the floor and I will be competing that way. I expect that several will pull close to or over 900 at the contest. Record recently broken I believe in US at well over a grand.
