Nile man? I love nile I didnt know they were touring. Those motherfuckers need to come to Denver. We've got a suprisingly big metalhead population here...........lots of trailer trash

I'll preface this by saying the video is geigh as the day is long, but music is pretty good.

Yea man they had chapel as the first second stage act at Mayhem Fest in denver and they got the crowd so tired that people hardly had any energy left for Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, or Trivium (all also second stage acts which was fucking BS)

you're gonna die when I tell you this. I was at mayhem fest and had backstage passes for everything because my brother is the bass player for marilyn mason. I was on stage as all the bands played and got to meet and hang out with all the bands. it was fucking sick bro

And I know a lotta people are hating on Nu metal these days but I dig some mushroomhead at times too and I was pissed that they didnt play in Denver.

I've hated him since the early 90's when he came across as a douche in interviews. I remember one where he was asked why he breaks a lot of his equipment on stage during concerts. He replied that if the instruments make you look bad they have to pay the price.

A lot of the Stoner, Psychedelic, and Sludge I listen to is not that big on vocals.
But when I'm in the mood for more solid vocals I'll listen to traditional Doom like Reverend Bizarre, Candlemass etc...

Im not into that Irish hard rock stuff. I'd much rather tap into Ireland and northern Europes ancient celtic and gailic traditions and language than hear music that is proud of the cesspool that has become Dublin.

But anyway ingreatshape, I'd check out some Trivium man if you havent heard their stuff. Their pretty moderate metal, not super hardcore vocally but their riffs are brutal and I like their song topic choice too.

Get the album Shogun by them, every song on it is pure gold........including the Iron Maiden cover:evil::evil:
