The "invisible soreness"

What's up,

What do you call this and what do YOU do as a result? Ill use an example to illustrate my question:

Fri/sat are rest days
Sunday you do 45 minutes of moderate cardio, nothing too extreme.
Monday you hit chest/triceps hard with the idea of hitting each muscle 1x per week
Tuesday you hit squats and two leg filler/isolation hard

Wednesday, because your diet is in check, your sleeping has been perfect, you may wanna hit the back muscles.

Well, for me, even though my back/biceps feel super ready for some pulling, ill grip he pull up bar to initiate hell on my lats, but after a couple sets I'm toasted. I'm not talking about my muscles, I'm talking about my gas or my adrenaline etc.

Sometimes worse, sometimes better than above, I've finally decided 2days of weights in a row is really my limit before needing rest. This can be tough, especially on cycle.

My question is why? From what I can tell, its our core or central nervous system that's toasted in these situations. So, if you're using AAS for example, your muscle recovery rate is increased, but your CNS / body can be fatigued exlusively.

Does this make any sense, can someone with knowledge shed some light on this?

I think I'm on the same page as you. Its around two days for me also.

You walk up to the bar, grab it, and it just doesn't feel right. It hurts to grip, feels too hard in your hand(nomo), you don't feel strong when your moving it, and its damn hard to get a pump.

These days are the worst, I think it is CNS related, but I don't think it is classic overtraining.

I was working my shoulders yesterday and I couldn't recover between sets. I am not sure if this even close to what you are talking about but I felt done after one set. What I did was try to work through it by cutting down in the weight and increased reps. I sure hope i don't get that again.

I was having the same issue mid workout. I started bringing a gatorade with 3 scoops of bcaa powder in it and sipping it all through my workout. Lemmie tell ya it made all the difference in the world. I also eat complex carbs 1 hr before the gym which helps me alot.

But obviously if its a CNS issue then my suggestion wont help.

Try a big heavy push day then a day off. Then a big heavy pull day and a day off. then a big leg day then the weekend off.
If your doing this schedule you gotta lift like your gettin paid $1,000 and hour to do it though.
