well as most of us already know, cortisol is a hormone released during stress that pretty much burns muscle tissue.

eliminating cortisol means ALOT more muscle!

as far as my knowledge goes, there isnt a drug out there that has been conclusively proven to fight cortisol... or maybe im wrong?

lets hear more about this...
any supps/recommendations of how we can fight cortisol!

too low on the cortisol, and you get the symptoms of addisons disease. not pretty.

but that said, oral vitamin C in high doses and Phosphatidylserine have both been shown to blunt the cortisol spike from intense workouts.

Phosphatidylserine is very dangerous and it is also good at the same time but if you ask me the bad outweigh the good. I would heavily research PS first.

just out of curiousity what makes ps so dangerous.
i have never heard that it was dangerous just that it was good at lowering cortisol levels

some people think AAS acts, at least at some level, by blocking glucocorticoid receptors (with androgens), thus inhibiting the effect of cortisol. In that sense, some of AAS' anabolic activity would be more like anti-catabolic activity. And if you are more often anabolic then catabolic, well, then you'll grow.

LXT isnt available until the first of the year so I would go with 7 OXO. It has poor oral bioavailability so you have to dose it high. 300mg or perhaps high and run it like LXT. If your joints hurt from any of the cortisol binders, remember to cut back on the doesage, after all getting rid of cortisol is bad.

How about that CORTISLIM shit on the TV infomecial.??.. LOL. Sorry, I know I'm wasting space here.

Macro.. Any thoughts?

JUNK. not surprising that they have at least 2 warnings from the FTC.

anytime a product does not readily list the ingredients, you can be almost sure that its a scam (or a VERY overpriced repackaging of already used ingredients)

btw- it does have some ok ingredients (not anything spectacular--- and unfortunately in amounts that are negligible)

you will get a lot more cortisol suppression from levorex (and thats not even one of its selling points)

Can always count on you to be on top of things. Few know their shit like you bro. many props...

I actually interviewed for a marketing position with them. They are in Brea CA. The director of marketing is Larry something. I wanna say it is Larry Thomson, which is also the same name as a sleazebag that was big at Herbalife for years.

They sell several other products: relacore, cortislim, and something with a 'p' in the title.

The brothers that started this company also were arrested for cd piracy in the mid-late 90's

I always see this commerical for a product named Relacore (sp?).... They say that it reduces Cortisol, which increases belly fat.... No idea how well it works, or what its' main ingrediant is...

made by the same company that makes cortislim.

stay away.

Only prob with Insulin is it will make you fat too.... If you eat too many carbs after taking it that is.... I guess the best way would be taking the insulin, and consuming minimal carbs after.... Or maybe if you just take a super small dose of insulin, that would be sufficent to stop the cortisol? Not sure if you need a specific amount of insulin to combat a specific amount of Cortisol....

It will make you fwt if used at the wrong time. Just like anything else it has to be taken at the right time. It doesn't have to be from just the injectable form of it either. A dextrose postworkout shake will have the same results with the insulin spike you are looking for.

The thing about insulin injections though is that...well it can kill you pretty quick. If you dont know the exact GI of everything then you could screw yourself up bad. You would do an injection and not get enough carbs in or the right type of carbs...become hypoglycemic then slip into a coma and eventual death. Slin is some scary shit. Lean Xtreme and 7 OXO pretty much has no side effects (except for the sides associated with lowering cortisol). About the PS though, I could be mistaken but I'll try to relocate my source again.

i know that green tea mixed with vitamin C greatly reduces it in the morning when those levels are highest. othe than that all i can think of is taking C during the day.
