How come Hotel California is so good and all their other songs suck so much ass?

Wow! That opinion is in the minority if you go by album/CD sales. Last time they came to my area, friggin lawn seats were going for $100.00. The reunion tour a few years back. Place was packed to the rim though.

then what is another good song. the ones I downloaded sound like the same unoriginal crap that like 40 american bands do. HC has a swing to it, like some foreign influence, the others are just old guys whining in my ears.

Then they just aren't for you. Personally I think they are the greatest band to ever exist, they have a mix of rock and folk that I really just like. If you don't like Lying Eyes then you won't like most of their stuff. To be honest I'm surprised you like Hotel California...
