The brand-new new music thread

I think powerslave might like it. I doubt you will fz. They have gone NWOBHM-style, completely. Old fans are pissed. Long-time metal fans see the "Maidenization" of any good metal band as inevitable. Harmonized guitar leads, clear singing, thirteen minute tunes etc. Only problem is that this guy doesn't actually have halford's or axl's pipes. But he sure goes for it.

Hey now.

The couple of tunes I heard were pretty sweet. Next time I'm in the CD store I might pick it up.

Shadows definitely needs more range in his vox. I'm kinda disappointed he can't scream anymore, but I give him a lot of respect for taking a new direction, rather than calling it a day.

Heard a new Throwdown track today called "Burn." Pretty much beats everything off Haymaker. They're a decent band, but I think they have a lot of potential to make much better music ...
