Going to a friend's birthday lunch at a Sushi place ... and her mom is picking up the tab

I'm not keen on Fridays (they tend to drag) but I'm trying to go into this one with a good attitude. I had a fun morning with my husband. We woke up an hour early and played with the dog for 2 hours. We're dorky like that.

I'm all alone in my department today which on one hand means more work but it also means a quiet day AND listening to whatever I want on the radio without being considerate (she's not a fan of conservative talk radio).
