The dude that played Spock was hot and the girl that played Uhura was very hot. Their kissing scene was the best part of the movie.

Kirk goes from being a bar brawling farm boy to commanding the flagship of the fleet in 3 years.

He knows how to command the biggest, most sophisticated ship in the fleet, despite never even commanded a shuttle.

Kirk was awesome enough to finish the academy in three years, but so was everyone else that started when he did? (Including the mouth-breathing idiot from the bar)
