Testosterone solo, I need some advice

I'm looking to use some testosterone but I want to run it solo. I have experience using steroids. When I was in my 20s, I used them quite a bit, but I took a break from them for the past 10 to 12 years. Now I'm looking to jump into it. I'm in my late 30s.
I'm around 103 kg and about 16% body fat. I want the benefits of strength and muscle mass. My question is, since I took so much time off, would I be able to get away with just 200 mg a week of testosterone, or would that be stupid for 12 weeks?

Welcome back to the game! Given your background and current stats, here's my honest take:

200mg/week is actually a solid starting point for your situation. Here's why it makes sense for you specifically:

  • After 10–12 years off, your body has essentially "reset" in terms of sensitivity to exogenous testosterone. You'll respond much better than someone who's been running cycle after cycle with no breaks.
  • At 103kg and 16% BF in your late 30s, your natural test levels are likely lower than they were in your 20s — so even 200mg will feel like a significant bump.
  • Running it solo (Test only) is absolutely the right call for a comeback cycle. No need to complicate things.

A few things worth considering:

  1. Get bloodwork done before you start — especially total testosterone, estrogen (E2), hematocrit, lipids, and PSA given your age. This is non-negotiable in your late 30s.
  2. Have an AI on hand (like Aromasin or Arimidex) even if you don't plan to use it. At 200mg some guys don't need it, others do — everyone aromatizes differently.
  3. PCT plan sorted before you pin — Nolvadex or Clomid, have it ready.
  4. 12 weeks is fine at this dose. You'll see clean, keepable gains without overwhelming your system.

Honestly, 200mg is not stupid at all — it's actually smart. You're not 22 anymore trying to blast 500mg. This approach will give you great strength and muscle gains while keeping side effects manageable.

Run it, get bloods mid-cycle around week 6, and adjust if needed. Good luck! 💪

That's not your honest take that's ChatGPT this haha. I think he wanted real life experience by asking the crew brother.

I agree with Roiders.

Anywhere between 300-500mg is a great cycle to start with, Have an AI on hand like aromasin as suggested by others.
High estrogen sides aren't just Spicy Nips.
Mood swings, more prone to sadness and neurotic thought patterns. - I'd look them up. but 300-500 in my opinion, Chucking in Anavar 20-40mg even just on training days with your pre workout will be fucken noiiice.

It takes 4-6 weeks to be fully saturated with Test so the gains will be punching through from that point onwards too to keep an eye out for.

Plenty of Info in the forum brother check out other logs or type in similar searches "first test cycle" etc on the search will help you get an idea too.

I'd suggest starting a log as well if you're wanting to enter into Anabolic territory again, we can all watch your progress.
