Testosterone is killing my sex drive

I have noticed that when I am on high doses of test. i.e. 1500mg/week that my sex drive subsides.

Before my levels get high, and when my levels drop again I seem to have an insatiable sex drive. Is there some sort of window inside which you have a sex drive, and doses of testosterone above or below it suppress sexual desire?

I would have thought that more test = more desire for sex?

You can't expect the body to retain its normal function when you throw one of its systems that far from it's normal, homeostatic level.

I've noticed that also.....at 500 I'm great but at 1 gram it's not so good....next cycle will be at 750......

I am 750 now. I cannot even concentrate in class. When I get one of those spikes in my sex drive almost anything becomes game. I have to keep up my standards though.

Too high of a level will definately supress libido. Not sure why beyond some negative feeback stuff going on. Contrary to popular belief, the body still produces some T while on steroids. Maybe at that dosage there's a complete shutdown. At any rate, I've seen this quite often -- even among people on too much HRT. As a matter of fact, I just lowered my HRT from 200a week to 100 every 5 days and noticed a big jump in libido. There's so much about this we don't yet know.

Very true - There is so much we have to learn about the human body (or any living organism).

I could be wrong, but a well educated juice user once told me that when using test (levels not specific), some can lose libido if they are prone to the side effect of having a lot of conversion of test into estradiol, which makes you go limp. He said it's another reason why Arimidex is a must on cycles.
