Is this the same ester as propionate?

A/K/A Formic Ether. Also a 3 carbon chain. Without the benefit of data I would guess it to have somewhat similar properties to propionate and other short chain esters. Don't think it has any particular value orally or by injection.

Someone is probably selling it because it is different and easy to make.
