test-e with finasteride, how does it affect gains adversely?

So as a guy with receding hair and naturally maxed out I felt like I had no options. Go bald on roids and get gains. Or go bald WAAAAY slower while staying natural and making no gains.

None of these seem appealing.

I've been scared shitless by these horror stories on finasteride and permanent side effects that I have not risked taking it.

Lately I've been thinking this just can't be true, how can these side effects be permanent, as long as you do not physically remove your testicles there is hope right?

So I've been thinking. What if.... I take 500mg test-e/week while taking 2.5mg finasteride per day and arimidex to control estrogens? Would I still experience increased hairloss compared to natural? Or in fact less hairloss than now since I'm not taking finasteride anyway?

Also (this is IMPORTANT PART OF THE QUESTION)

if I did decide to do this, can I start the finasteride together with the test the same day or does finasteride need to be taken in advance for it to take effect?

lastly, assuming this works and I don't experience increased hairloss while on 500mg test/week + 2.5mg finasteride/day.... will i still gain strength because they said DHT is very important for strength. Mass is not a problem I believe, a study proved that finasteride did not affect the anabolic effects of testosterone.

If you value your hair, don't touch testosterone. At 600 mg/week, the levels of DHT increase by 7-times! You can gain muscle on Deca and Anavar as well, and not to be afraid of hairloss.

And further: Don't listen to impotent hypochondriacs on the internet. They represent a miniscule percentage of all users.

1mg per day is a usual dose, 2.5 sounds excessive. Don't know if there is any "ramp up" needed either for hair loss meds but I would doubt it.

Propecia comes in 1mg pills but insurance companies won't cover it at that level. Generic finasteride (same thing as propecia comes in 5mg pills. Insurance will cover this because this is the dosage for prostrate issues.

I'm assuming he's breaking the pills inn half. He could quarter them. So that he gets 1.25.

I tried finasteride but couldn't sleep.

tryion in dead on. don't fuckin take 2.5mg. 1mg is plenty to combat dht derivatves. ive been taking it for yrs and thru multiple cycles and lost zero hair. I am predisposed for mpd tho.

any "side effects" from the finasteride? (low energy, loss of strength, weak erections)

yeah don't take finasteride with deca or npp.

And ofc I've taken finasteride with test. I will say if u run it high it will hurt ur hard ons but u just have to cut back dosage. finasteride is powerful shit and ive heard of people gettin away with 0.5 mg off cycle and 1mg on.

Well, you can't take finasteride together with nandrolone... But if you use minoxidil, then it's the best choice.

Finasteride is a very inflexible stuff, by the way. It protects you only against one endogenous hormone (DHT). Therefore, taking finasteride together with steroids is virtually useless. Finasteride can't save your hair in such cases. I wouldn't risk even taking finasteride with injectable testosterone. Minoxidil is a much better choice. But once you jump on it, you must take it till the end of your life, because minoxidil-dependent hair can't be kept by any other treatment.

I doubt that anybody can lose hair on moderate doses of nandrolone and Anavar. Usually, people losing hair on "Anavar" bought some fake pills containing Dianabol or something similar.

Well, i've been taking 1mg of finasteride for years and i'm the only male in my family who still has hair on the top of his head. I nibble 5mg pills as discussed above so i take something like 0.8mg -1.25 ED. It has worked out just fine. I also did a cycle of anavar and didn't see any problem. I'm about to go with Test E, and from what i've read don't expect a problem with moderate doses as Oxymoron has done.
