tendon trouble

Decline tricep extensions seems to be one of the few exercises that don't bother my elbow

also work yoru biceps before you do triceps, it does help to give a bit of cushion from teh pumped bicep

Read my post again. In my sport...injuries are like food...you just have to bare with it. Find ways to train around them..

Mine are flaring up again!! I plan to take a few days off of upper body training. I was in the gym today and I had some aching. For biceps, I performed standing cable curls and machine preacher curls for 3 sets of 12 reps. That really helped the aggravated tendons. All of the stress went stress to the muscle bellies. If joint pain is really bad, a lay off is good or machine training can come in handy.

Someties the muscle outgrows the tendon. I have that problem with bi's. During my bicep workout, the elbow screams but the strength keeps increasing. After about four weeks, it did not get better but did not get worse so it's just some pain I have to work through until it heals itself. Just about every part of your body will go through some type of resistance to the punishment at some point. If you look back on all the pains you've had doing this, it would make you laugh at why you do it. But it's the sanctity of the gym, unless you do it, you don't understand.

That might be the case. I have medium sized elbow joints, and good sized muscle bellies. Its weird, I use heavy weight with good form. Maybe the tendons are exhausted and want rest. I could probably use the extra rest.
