Telling people you on gear

I wanted to know how it was for some of you guys in telling friends and family that you are using steroids. Was the experience positive or did you get over reaction from them?

I never told them except my one friend who uses steroids if I tell then they react negatively so I keep it secret and I enjoy from it

The initial response was momentarily off. I pointed out that all that had changed from the moment before to the moment after was their perception of me.

I'm almost 40 so it really isn't anyones business what I do whether it is steroids or something else lol

if you are a younger guy i understand. i mean if you still live with your parents but can afford to use steroids and bodybuild that makes no sense. move out first.

as far as telling your gf/spouse.. ummm.. they will find out anyway so might as well be upfront and tell them. women find out everything

i never get into it... obviously i have made videos talking about it but i never volunteered the info... im not using much anymore of anything but before i really never discussed it... im one of those people thats just not nosey... i dont ever get into others business and i dont like people in mine

I told my wife before I started. But after that I've been very careful about who actually knows and those who think they know. Just remember this if they know, at some point they could try to use it against you. But if they just think you use but don't actually know for sure, well that's a little different scenario.

My wife knows and my brother. My brother because I lift with him. It is hard to pack on 10 lbs of muscle in 8 weeks without him noticing.

It's less of an issue here of course compared to the US.

Usually your family members aren't mad at the fact you are using steroids, but the fact you hid it from them
