Taking T3 + BCAA and getting FAT! HELP!!

Hi,
I started taking Cynomel, BCAA (750mg), 5-HTP (200mg), and B-6 (50mg) almost two weeks ago to try and slim down and tone muscle with free weights [10lbs each]. I've also been trying to keep to a fairly low-carb high-protein diet. I'm worried if I'm doing something wrong, since it seems like I've gained at least a few pounds of fat and very little muscle since I started almost two weeks ago. Also, I've had no side effects from the Cynomel, and I've already worked up to 100mcg a day. So, I guess my two questions are:

Is there an obvious explanation for the gain in fat (possibly the combination of gear/com. of gear with low-carb diet)?

Does the fact that I haven't experienced any side-effects from Cynomel suggest that I should increase the dosage until I do, and then find my comfort zone?

I'm a 27 year old female, 5'8", 160lbs if that helps any. Any suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Firstly, cynomel does not discriminate WHAT it burns...meaning along with the possibility of burning fat, it is going to burn muscle as well unless you are on some sort of aas...and even then it would really need to be a somewhat anabolic compound in order to help fight the catabolism of muscle.

You fail to mention how you ramped up as well and what a sample diet looks like. I am not familiar with your other posts, so it would be helpful to have more detialed background on you and your diet, lifitng routine and overall fitness experience.

And, I will say the following and it is not meant as rudely as it may come out -- but T3, is not a remedy for fat loss. Goodness gracious if it was, the American public would not be obese.

If you are somewhat lean already and really trying to push down towards a less than natural bodyfat perentage, say for a competition, then T3 could be helpful to you. But again, it is not a magic pill and as far as I am concerned a somewhat serious chemical.

With aas, you have sides that are temporary and others that are not. With T3 there is no way of knowing if it has permantently screwed with your natural metabolism of course, until it is too late.

Anyway, please post more details and perhaps together we can figure out what is going on.

Just curious Daph, where or how did you come up with the Cynomel, BCAA, B-6 and 5-HPT combo for fat loss? Something you read, something someone told you, or something you put together on your own?

Can someone enlighten me please as to when T3 became known as "gear"? And I second W6 question as where the combo you mentioned came from? Mind you, I am no expert here but my experience has been that AAS is "gear". Additionally if you want to preserve what muscle you have while taking T3, you will have to lift heavier than 10#. I believe if you use the search feature you will find the information you need and then some.

I am not flaming you just trying to share some of my past experience from research and limited use of "gear". And what I have learned is that if you decide to use T3, you should be using a AAS and lifting heavier in order to preserve what lean mass you may have. BTW, I have never used T3 as I am aware that it does not discriminate what it burns as stated earlier by Newgirl.
