T3 and Shedding Hair

Hey guys, Long time reader of the site, but I've never posted. I've searched the forum, and I couldn't find much of anything on T3 and the hair cycle. So I apologize if this has been covered before

Test Prop - 300 mg/wk for 10 weeks
Anavar - 50 mg ed for 6 weeks - 25 mg AM / 25 mg PM
Arimidex - .5 mg EOD
HCG 250 IUs twice a week for 10 weeks
T3: 50 mcg 10 weeks - 25 mcg in the AM, and 25 mcg in the PM
Clenbuterol: 40-60mcg 2 wks on 2 weeks off for 10 weeks
PCT - Clomid 50/50/50/25 Nolva 40/40/20/20

6'0" 215 8.5% body fat, diet is great.

I'm on week 3 of this cycle, and for the past 10 days I've noticed that my hair is shedding like crazy. 10-15 hairs is normal, but I'm shedding 100+ easily a day. I have a good head of hair, my Dad and brother are MPB prone, but my uncles on my mother's side of the family has all of their hair (My build, hair color, skin, and looks favor my mother's side). I've done cycles before, and never shed like this. I know that the thyroid has a lot to do with the hair cycle. I've known a hypoactive thyroid would cause thin, brittle hair, and nails, but after researching, a hyperactive thyroid can also cause hair to shed. Are these hairs that were in the resting period, and the extra t3 is causing them to go into a shedding phase to regrow again? Anyone who has taken t3 experienced rapid shedding? does it end after your hormones balanced out? did your hair come back thicker? Most of what I have been able to find on the internet is women's experiences with t3 shedding. Should I lower the t3 dose to 25 mcg a day? One reason I believe I might be taking too much T3 is because a couple days ago, I had just eaten my post workout meal, and my resting heart rate got up to around 90 bpm for about 30 minutes (I'm off the clen right now, so just t3). I know that high doses of t3 can cause an elevated heart rate.

The reason why I don't think it's MPB is because I am shedding in non MPB areas. I've done a hair pull test on the sides and back of my head and have pulled upwards of 7 hairs in one pull.

Thanks

I'm a woman and have had that exact experience with a T3/clen cycle. I have tried variations of ramping up the T3 too, so for example, started off with 12.5 for a week, up to 25 for a week and so on. Once my hair starts to really fall out, I know it's time to ramp back down and stop.

50 mcgs isn't a super high dose but maybe it's too high for you? Have you ever had your thyroid tested prior to this? Whatever you do, don't just stop it as there can be a rebound, especially since you seem to be reacting to it. Taper it down and keep your diet clean coming off.

I've had my thyroid checked several times in the past, a little over a year ago, and everything came back in the normal range. I did not have it checked prior to starting 3 weeks ago. I dropped the dose down to 25 mcg yesterday, and I'll stay there for awhile and see how I react. Yesterday I was working out, and was sweating pretty excessively.

How would you say your hair reacted after you discontinued T3? Back to normal, or did the shedding continue. I only ask because there are a lot of people (mostly women) that say the shedding never stopped. Obviously, most people commenting on a medical side effect on the internet are the ones that have bad experiences.
