He sure gets the credit for a lot of stuff. I was under the impression from others that he was more of an innovator than a showman. Is his recognition of the usefulness of whey, ephedra, usnic acid (among others) part of the 95%?
Even if they are the ideas of others they are rather genius and the weightlifting world has benefitted tremendously just the same, I would think. I didn't know him, but I would hate to think he got famous for what he didn't know.
I also heard he invented the recumbent bike.
