Syringe Size

Ok, before all of you start jumping on me about using the search feature, HOLD UP! I did a search and instead of getting actual syringe sizes, the threads were refering to needle sizes. So now that I know the ideal needle size (23G-1 inch) I now need to know the syringe size so I can order some. (using deca and sus)

a 23 g is a needle size nobody needs. Get a 25 g. And excuse me a 23 g is definitly not the IDEAL NEEDLE size.

You can do nothing with it. Not for shooting, you even cannot draw up with it.

well then...would you use a 25g in your glutes or your delts?i sure wouldn't.a 25g 5/8" is used on my part for bis/tris...23g 1" is used for glutes and delts.no probs for me w/ those sizes.as for the original Q?,3ml's works well...---fyi

I agree I'd use a 25g 5/8" for smaller parts. For major big parts, thighs, glutes I use a 23g 1"

I like 22gauge 1 1/2 inch and 3-5cc syringe and I would make sure and get luer-lock not slip lock (Its how the needle is attached to the syringe, one slides on and the other screws on)

what the hell are you talking you can draw up with a 23, yes you can or maybe im just special, hey cool. i think a 23 works fine, even though i have never used anything else.

I like a 22g. It great for drawing as well as shooting. I use the 1.5". If Im doing a thigh poke, I only use 1" of it. For glutes, I use the whole 1.5". Cant go wrong.....and if your a mna, it doesnt hurt. Hell, try a 21g, its not that bad either but does bleed.

yes, i use a 25 g 5/8 inch in the butt. I am not saying anyone else should a 5/8 inch but as long as i don't get problems with it, i will do it. As for delts and arms right now i use a 26 g 0,45 inch long.
Still we are talking about needle size, not length and nobody needs a 22 or 23 g for anything.
But continue doing what you do, but don't tell me a 23 g is the ideal needle, because it is not.

Ok Jeff I guess I worded that wrong. What I meant was after reading various posts and doing some research I came up with 23g-1 inch as my ideal size of choice. Obviously I am not qualified to say what THE ideal needle size is. Especially seeing how I haven't even done my first shot yet! lol But I must say it looks as though personal preference has a lot to do with what the ideal size really is.

I went with 22g 1.5" for quad shots. I think I'll go with 18g to draw and 23g to shoot next time. 22g will work just fine for both, though.

IMO,unless your glutes are striated and your bf% is under 6%...then a 5/8" is not long enough for IM injections...but to each their own...---fyi
