It depends on how long you run the nandrolone. If you're doing a 10-12 week and you've run the deca for 5-6 weeks, i don't think switching to NPP is going to speed recovery, because you can't recover until you're off anyway. Deca shuts you down hard and even by switching to a short ester you still are at a certain level of shutdown and that level will not change until you are completely off.
But my thinking is this: It will speed recovery because you aren´t "off" until the esters clear. With n. decoanate you aren´t clear until 2-3 weeks after, and during those weeks, your blood levels are dropping so you aren´t benefiting from them as much. With a short acting product you will benefit for those 2-3 weeks, OR be totally clear in 5-10 days (if you stop) instead, enabling you to begin PCT more quickly.
It´s just about efficiency. With the long esters, you´re in transition a lot more; a total of 5 weeks beginning and end. If you do short esters beginning (thanks for the great idea Monkey!) and end, the time you spend in the innefficient transition period of dropping or increasing blood levels is significanty reduced. You´re either ON or OFF, not STARTING or FINISHING.
Why wouldn´t you just use the short esters through the whole cycle? It´s harder to maintain a steady blood level, and more frequent injections are a bitch. So the cycle test-monkey mentioned above is a GREAT idea. You use the strong points of each product, and minimize the weaknesses.
I like the sound of this. Any other opinions or experiences?
(By the way, I am loving deca. There are no sides for me, what little sex drive issues might arise are easily countered with cabergoline.) The gains are awesome.
