????-Debate about Gym? Sweat? Do u wipe it off or do u let it pour? Swating is your body's cooling system, so wipeing would create more heat. thus more sweat must be replaced.
5'9 260 makes you a big boy, as long as you're wiping off the equipment REAL good I don't think anyone else should mind. Personally, if I were you, I would towel off every so often if only for apperance sake. IMHO.
I sweat like a pig (do pigs sweat?) at the gym. I wipe myself and all the equipment down when I'm done. I also put the towel on the equipment to keep it drier.
5'9" and 260 - wow - I thought at the end of my bulk up in January that was big (6' and 260). By slowly cutting my diet back and some more cardio, I've dropped alot.....and still going. I'm working on getting to a ripped 210-215. Then start the process over again (hopefully getting more muscular). Good luck to you 2 and these forums are really the place to learn and ask questions.
I think everyone has misunderstood my question. I am refering to the sweat on our body. If you wipe away the sweat, your body natural cooling system, then the body must work harder to replace the sweat? this is the question. Does your body actually burn more by replacing the sweat you've just wiped off.
I don't know... I always wipe at least my face and arms (if they are leaving snail trails on the bench is nasty to the other people).
Besides, when doing cardio I notice I sweat the most when I lower the intensity in-between cycles... funny. It's like my body has no chance to swear when it's pumping at 95% MHR, but once it goes down to 75-80 is like a damn faucet...
