superbowl party & poker

I just thru a superbowl party, had about 35 guys there, 20 of us played a texas hold-em tourney w/ a $400 buy in.. Unbelievable, i played my worst poker that nite and go figure i end up chopin 1st place w/ another bro, we split $6300, wtf... I usually play in aleast 1 tourney a week sometimes 2 and the best ive done is 2nd place... just goes 2 show theres alot of luck involved no matter how good u r.

I just won 2,350.00 wednesday night in a 38 man tourny for $120.00 buy in and $20 rebuys for the first hour.

I also split first and second.

I'm already up 3,450.00 for the year.

I'm keeping a detailed calender of every wager won or lost this year.

good job D, thats a big payout considering the buy in.. i guess the rebuys add up quickly... one of my buddies does the same thing, he tracks all his winnings and losses. its a good idea, i gotta start doin it.

if you play online, use pokertracker to keep track of your (and your opponents) play. it's a great tool.
