muskate High End Bro Platinum Mar 18, 2018 #5 Sugar WILL spike insulin levels which is exactly why you don't want to consume it... Your carbohydrate intake should always come from unprocessed low GI carbs like brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato etc.
