I personally know of five people that have spent between 9-11 months in State prison for child support. One is a guy my best friend grew up with.

She didn't ask him for child support if I remember correctly. She had the child's best interests in mind and is going it alone. That is respectable.

That's why she's suing in an American court, to enforce the decision. If he was that far behind with an Ohio court order of child support he would be in prison right now, once you hit 5k and aren't paying it's a felony.

A lot of states are like that. You see those Wanted posters for Deadbeat Dads.


A mens group is trying to get Wanted posters for the women that move away and won't let the father see them.
