im sure its been answered 2 million times...im sorry guys i feel like such a loser...but...here it is...can xanax show up on drug tests...99% of me says NO...but that 1% is unsure...just a regular job drug tests...not testing for anything specific...sorry guys

Check it out man the company that is sending you out for a job screening has a list they give to the clinic on what they want checked in your urine. Marijuana is one of them, cocaine, meth all of the recreational drugs. I hope this helps.

That's a big negative, I used to work for a military drug lab which also
did some of the civillian sector tests, IE government workers and the only thing they test for are your basic street. Although some other drugs will
occaisionally make you pop on a test but it is very rare. The lab I worked for never tested for xanax, btw, xanax usually clears your system in less than 72 hours. Hope this helps.

Yeah man - it is not unusual to test for benzos.

To generalize, unless you are getting a very high clearance from the NSA, Military, CIA, or some State entity your test will probably be an immunoassay (sp?). They will test for some predfined list of drugs and if any of them exceed a specific cutoff level gthey will then do a gas chromatograph test to nail down the exact level. In the case of benzos, becasue the first test will just identify benzos and not the specific type, the second test will be used to identify the specific compound. Then you will have to provide evidence that you are legally taking that specific benzo and probalby explain why you forgot to mention it in the first place.


Xanax has a relatively short half life so stop taking it until the test and maybe it won't exceed the cutoff level.

see if you can find a source localy that carries the ZYDOT drink. will work. and yes, it will show up on a 5 panel drug test.

I dont know about this one..... I'm pretty sure Benzo's will show up.... I think the basic test is for THC, Amphetimines, Benzo's, Opiates, and cocaine..... I knew a dude that had to take drug tests for his probation, and he got snagged taking Valium.... Now, maybe for probations they use broad spectrum tests, but I'm not sure..... I would just stop using the Xanax, or get one of those Test Clean kits you see on Hightimes.com....

For the drug test, are you going to a facility like Quest? If so, do you have the order form with the test codes on it? google the test codes and you will probably find exactly what your test panel is.

Sorry, if you've been getting to sleep with Xanax I dont know what to substitute in place of it. It is strong shit.

Yeah, and I use Benadryl for sleep..... One time I took 2 Tylenol PM's, and 1hr later took 2 Benadryl tabs.... Ultimate legal sleep aid.... Add in a few shots of Vodka, and NIGHT NIGHT.....
