stupid question about fat/carbs

if one was to go on a low carb diet for a little while (not necessarily a CKD) how would one go about eating more fat while still curbing the carbs. (i.e. most flax oil has quite a few carbs).

The fat in meats
whole eggs
flax oil
olive oil
fish oils
nuts
Cheese
Full fat cottage cheese
heavy cream

these are all great sources of fat, BA, but do they not carry some pretty high carb counts also?

meats are virtually carb free
whole eggs have negligable amounts of carbs
flax oil/olive oil etc are 0% Carbs
oily Fish has very little if no carbs
Nuts, granted have carbs but in moderation you can still stick under 10g carbs with it
Cheese, carb free unless u get fancy cheese with bits of fruit in it
Heavy Cream, 1g carb per tbsp?
Full fat cottage cheese 6 grams per tub

i'd say they were all low carb sources... just how low do u want to go and why so low???

well, to make a long story short, because of an injury I cannot lift big for a while, so, instead of continuing my bulking cycle, I am going to do a short but hardcore low carb cycle (less than 20-30 carbs per day). it is going to be short, so I am not doing a full CKD, I will do that after my next bulking cycle.

thanks for the info.

I think you'll need some carbs in the rehabilitation process of ur injury, just my £0.02
you don't want to deprive urself of anything during this time
