Stop eating Christmas food!!! This is at the top of my list.

I had a house full of company last night and had to excuse myself and retire to my bedroom for a shower and a 8:30 bedtime. Dang. After a two day binge of puff pastry appetizers, pie, "special" cookies, "special" drinks, ect, ect, ect...I felt like I was 5 months preggo and my fingers were swole up like lil sausages.

I woke up this AM and started downing water. Now, I think I'll concentrate on some good quality protein shakes today and start afresh tomorrow with a round of egg whites and steel cut oats.

Is it disordered of me to break a binge with a day of liquids? If just feels like there can be no remarriage (healthy eating) with out the divorce (liquid day).

Mind games work for me I guess. I'll let you know how it goes.
 
I'm thinking the same thing today also - divorce from food - only liquid protein today...swear to God, I'm a 500 lb heifer with so much bloat....
 
I am so in your boat girl no more junk for me the next bad think I am letting myself have is drinks on NYE going to try my hardest to stay away from all the food then. I been drinking tons off water nothing but chicken today almonds and more water.
 
Don't feel bad girl. No gym where I was for 3 days and lots of bad foods and wine. I feel terrible! :( I am finally back today and back on track. I had my eggs and about to hit the gym. I will feel much better here soon. :)
 
i didn't get fat this year around the holidays. i found from experience that i tend to go food crazy when i resign myself to it, like its inevitable to gain a few pounds during these periods. and i never had trouble with alcohol or staying away from it as i don't really drink, it was always the food.:p


oh and i think giving you digestive system a rest by liquid fasting is def not a bad idea:)
 
I gave in and ate all the bad stuff too, but yesterday I gathered up all the chocolate, desserts, and cookies that accumulated on holidays and either threw it out or gave it away. Feeling good about that and only missed three days at the gym too.
The sugar sure made me feel like a sleepy hog too though! lolol

Being "off" of sugar for so long and then overdoing it and getting off again really makes one realize how bad it is!

just because Im enjoying the binge


except the sausage fingers I am too sporting

new years day tho, same plan...all protien nothing else and no refined sugar/flour period
