Why do you need L-DOPA supplements? Do you have Parkinson's dz? Why do you think you have hyperprolactinemia?

I'm baffled by the use of all these nutritional supplements.


CHEMISTRY LESSON TIME!!!
1. Most athletes are Zinc deficient. Zinc is a key factor in enzymatic activation's relating to the anabolic potential of testosterone, Insulin, IGF-1, GH, Prostaglandins, and about every other hormone or hormone-like substance relating to muscle growth. Zinc deficiency can and will cause a reduction in androgen receptor count and in increase in estrogen receptor count as well as a reduction in androgen binding sites(this increases aromatization of androgens to estrogens).
Some AAS reduce zinc levels and can further inhibit HPTA
17-BHSD and 3-BHSD are dependant on zinc(we need those to convert certain prohormones to more powerful androgens)
Zinc boosts the immune system
Zinc is a powerful anti-oxidant
Zinc deficiency prevents pancreatic beta cells from storing or secreting insulin
Zinc is necessary for protein metabolism
Its necessary for DNA transcription and cell division
The prostate has the highest level of Zinc concentration of all the bodies organs(its not nice if the prostate strts messing around)
The enzymes that allow the body to process lactic acid and carbon dioxide are zinc dependant
Cortisol levels rise sharply in times of zinc deficiency
Zinc is needed to metabolism vitamin A
Zinc is needed for the production of sperm and testosterone
The thymus gland shrinks when zinc levels are low(this gland prodeces T-cells that protect against tumors and disease)
As a rule only 20% of a single dosage of zinc is absorebed and the larger the dose the smaller the percentage of absorbtion. Citrate, B-6, picolinic acid all increase absorbtion(kinda important to take it more often than just with the daily multivitamin eh?)
Optimal Zinc levels increase free AAS plasma levels during cycles and decrease HPTA inhibition.

so...uh...zinc is important...ill spend the extra 10$ a month for a good zinc supplement just in case....to each thier own though...



2. Tribulus is my personal preference, I have seen conflicting research but have clincally had great results with it. The most important active ingredients in Tribulus are the Furostanol Saponins and Protodioscin. Again, i have seen conflicting reports so i concede the point. some things work for certain people and some dont.

3.L-dopa, being a precurser for dopamine is very important for restoring sexual function. Dopamine is a nuerotransmitter which is released by the nuerons in the medial preoptic area of the hypothalamus in response to male sexual activity, such as sexual arousal. In turn, an erection results when dopamine activates D-1 receptor sites within the brain. this is due to moderate levels of dopamine. When dopamine levels increase above moderate levels, the D-2 receptor sites are activated which causes ejaculation.
Trenbolones and nandrolones increase prolactin production and the top dawg prolactin inhibitor is dopamine, it does this by binding to lactotrophs, and inhibits both the synthesis and release of prolactin(there are other checmicals that positively regulate prolactin such as GnRH, TRH, and VIP).
Estrogen is a primary promoter of prolactin release, especially progestin-like AAS(hence tren and deca). So itis quite common for men to place themselves in a hyperprolactinemic state unless drugs such as cabergoline and bromocriptine are used to combat the progestin drugs. I beleive Dopamine is an easier route to go and the results during and post cycle use would be increased HPTA function, improved determent from female pattern fat deposits and heightened libido. (hey, its better than having a limp dick, breast tissue and lactation problems!!)



hope that answers all your questions. I research quite extensively before I try a product. then I test is clincally. If I like its effects I keep it in the arsenal. If not, i throw it out. I would rather be safe than sorry in the end instead of saving a few measly $$$ to not buy health related supps.

i have been off my cycle of test cyp and deca for about 3 months now, and did 3 weeks of clomid post cycle. still having problems getting an erections and my gf is getting pissed! i started taking some proviron this week but still nothing. i even took some of that maca men from GNC tonight, was able to get it up but not for very long. is there anything, besides viagra, that I can take to help this. any help would be appreciated. thanks
