steroids while on BC

havent seen this question posted before If the wife is on Birth control and wants to try a certain type of steroidd will it effect the bc pills?
 
Possible, but not likely. If you REALLY want to avoid a PG, use something else while she is on.

Also, tis a bit silly to take supplemental estrogen AND male hormones ..... while many do (including myself), it makes much more sense to drop the hormonal BC and use another form while she is on AAS.

sorry.... i am taking anadrol and she wants too but i told her it was a bad idea and she is NOT taking it now ., but she was considetring it. have been trying to find some primo for her but have been unsuccesful. she wants to find some clen. to cut off some fat for the beach

Bro if I had to pick the absolute worst steroid for a woman (especially) or a man then I would have to say anadrol. Clen is not gonna fuck with her BC, it's only an asthma med. If she is gonna do any type of steroid, stick with anavar and a good diet.

i have been using 25mg.an. for 21 days now and the wife was wondering if she could use this also and i told her it was not a choise for women. she was wanting some primo but have not been able to find any through my source. and all she realy wants to do is loose some fat and gain a little muscle. clen will cut her, but she wantred to know if it would affect her BC pills, which i did not think it would as it is not an AS. sorry for all the confusion. and NO she is not taking my anadrol

she has had her ass in the gym for about 5 years now and was told by trained her body fat was 29% and scared the crap out of her. she is 5'11 and 150 lbs. and is worried about what the trained told her now. we are both 38 yrs old and have 2 kids wanting no more
 
LMAO! at that response. I know it's hard for some people, I don't think anyone realized you were in your thirties and obviously your wife has worked hard. I'm telling you, get her on some anavar if she is gonna do any type of AS(can't believe nobody mentioned this yet). It's the safest as far as sides and she will get results from somewhere around 15 mg. per day with a strict diet and a good workout routine. Mainly it's the diet though. Weight training gets your metabolism up and it stays up around four hours after a workout, while cardio will also get it up, but it will drop down to normal level around thirty minutes after completing the routine. Weight training is better for getting that metabolism up and going. Get her doing both of these and she should see some results.

She has been working out for 5 years and is still 29% BF?

Dood, her diet is jacked up.

She needs to re-evaluate her workout and diet.

Kids or no kids, working out and still 29% ..... something ain't right.

Clen will do NOTHING for her at 29%. Post up EXACTLY what she eats and what she does at the gym. Here or on the Women's Board. We'll fix the problem.

Sorry to be so smart-ass ..... but if she is 29% then NO AAS or Clen is going to help her at this point. She needs a clean diet and HEAVY training program. :)
 
The problem with cardio is exactly what I stated earlier about the metabolism returning to normal after half an hour, and in order to burn fat(most people don't realize this) your body must burn up all the energy it has stored before it actually even gets to the reserve, which is the excess fat on the body. So people actually need way more cardio than they are getting. Thirty minutes will help the prevention of cardiovascular disease, but won't burn any excess fat.

Careful. Cardio is WAY overrated for fat loss. Yes, it has its use. Yes, it can be helpful.

But ONLY if the other necessary things are in place. Namely, good clean diet and heavy weight training.

Excess cardio, with little lifting, will actually REDUCE muscle mass - which will lower your metabolism. IMO, most people - especially females - do too MUCH steady-state cardio and too little weight training.

Not to mention that most people don't change their workouts (including cardio) often - her body has likely adjusted to what she is doing.

HIIT 3x a week, plus a CLEAN diet will do a TON more than hours of steady-state cardio.
 
That is exactly what I said. Cardio does have it's benefits (cardiovascular) but it is not nearly as good as it is built up to be for burning fat. The problem is INTENSITY, and 90% of the people that do cardio don't have a single bit of it. Hell, I see people reading magazines all the time while they are walking on the tread mill or stairstepping. Bottom line is, if you can pay attention to what you are reading then your intesity level is not high enough to do jack shit. You have to get your heart rate up. I can walk from here to California, but if I don't get my heart rate up and build the intensity level, I'm not gonna get any results. No pain no gain basically, in order for anything to work you have to get a little uncomfortable and a little sweaty. Nothing comes easy.

We may all be the victims of one of those horrible bodyfat calculating scales here too. If she's 5'10" and 150 pounds, that sure doesn't sound like 29% bodyfat material to me. Stay off the Tanita scales, and use more accurate methods of determining bodyfat levels. If that was true, her lean bodyweight would only be 106.5 pounds. A girl that tall would have to be awfully lightly structured to swing that.

] she has been doing mostly cardio and this is probably where her problem is. i think her body has adjusted to it she has started using weights more for about 2 months now and she has started to se some progress. she is starting to get leaner now.
