Steroids and the Army?

Tux

Well-known member
Just wondering how likely I'd be to be tested for steroids in the army? I know David Henry juiced like hell in the army, ronnie juiced like hell as a cop, and I almost joined the army once, while on cycle, and passed the test no prob. If I end up going to the Army, I just don't want to lose too much size and strength during basic, so what do you guys think would be the best thing I could do? Oral-only cycle like moderate dose of anavar during the basic, and then back to regular cycles later? Just never get too big or too crazy and nobody will test me for it?

Not positive on army basic but theres no way in hell they are gonna let you take aas during basic training. You cant sneak it in cuz they take everything away from you before your basic even begins. So live through basic without any aas then when you graduate run your cycle. Just dont let anyone else know and dont make it noticeable to where it gets others curious or asking questions.

you have to be taking crazy pills thinking you'd get away with that scheme. check your priorities

agreed... good friend of mine was in the army for 2 years and he said at basic you go there with a shirt and pants and hair... soon as you cross that line of civilian ground and US Gov't property you get stripped of your clothes and hair and nothing is allowed in..everything is put into a box and shipped back to your house... bottom line...your def not getting AAS in there period

There is one area they don't search. But I'm not too sure you'd be willing to go that route to sneak in aas. Army basic is only like 8 weeks. You'll be in and out before you even know it. Start a mild cycle as soon as you are through with recruit training...oh wait, I mean basic training.

lol semper fi

I was in army for a few years, as everyone already said no way of sneaking anything in, , not even multi vitamins lol...

after basic and your ait which is advanced individual training you are good to go... then its just your run of the mill piss tests for the normal rec. drugs..

I would have to agree with these bros, once you get to AIT though you will be good to go. With all the foot locker inspections ,even if you could get it in, there would be no place to stash it in basic. Back when I went thru(years ago), the army didn't even let you touch a weight until AIT anyways. I don't know if thats changed though.

Whe you get deployed to Iraq or Afganastan for a year + you won't be able to use AAS. You Might want to get in the habbit of training naturally. When you deploy you will have access to free weights and protein and that's about it. I got pretty jacked while I was in Iraq.lost a little size but my receptors where nice and fresh by the time I got back.

I just came back from Baghdad...Alot of people n the gym were on the sauce... Military...contractor...etc...

Now...you get sent out on an op...no where near a city...then just stock up on orals.... I did.....hehe

Forget the first six-nine months,

You won’t have time, food, or privacy.

Get got with gear in the army and you go to Leavenworth for 2 years, no questions

My budy got busted at they just demoted him from corporal to PFC

Im a current 11b. I wouldnt try it in basic, not enough food & no supplements. One you hit AIT or get out of OSUT your good to go.

ur a grunt. they're bred to get by. i gained 30 lbs in basic, pure muscle.

not enough food? they have a basic daily required calorie intake. now u may not get enough time to get it all in, but u'll adjust if u want it.

Gained 30 pounds in basic? Not enough running in the Army then. 30 pounds in 8 weeks is pretty solid stuff considering all the calorie expenditure. Save your cash on Masteron and enlist in the Army instead. Forget the gear bro.

Semper Fi.

I lost weight during basic but most of that weight was fat. I was a barrel chested freedom fighter by the end of my 14 basic training. (11 bang bang).

I have been in almost eight years man....Dont even think about risking it at basic. No privacy, The drill will toss all your shit around anyways and they know all the hiding places so dont even think you can try to hide it in the ceiling or in your mattress or anything. Just eat like a fucking horse in the chow hall. I did. Went in 145lbs. Lost ten in basic. Got to AIT and came out 170lbs. In AIT they will let you go to the PX> Just get some protein, vitamins and creatine. The D.I. found my creatine an shit during an inpection in AIT and just laughed saying I was a fucking meat head. The food is free so eat, eat ,eat. Oh and when your dying on that last push up or last mile...Fuck the pain it feels good. Do that extra two push ups or run harder just to beat the guy next to you and show him your better. You will gain nicely doing that. AHHHH Pleasure Pain.
INFANTRY LEADS THEY WAY!! And Fuck that HOOAH shit saying. Marines got to the OOH-RAAH first dammit. Dammit dammit it sounds cool.

you're lying not doubt about it. i was skin and bones 175 and came out of basic like 165. you only get 3 meals a day thats not enough if u sit at home and sleep all day. so eating 3 meals a day, with running and training all day in the (for some)hot sun, you can only lose

not a good idea at all bro. dont even try it or think about it. once u get there ull know exactly what i mean. they check everything and find everthing. AIT you might have a chance but its really not worth it at all. train natural untill ur back to hemostatis so u dont break down in there.

Boot is basically about breaking you and giving you mental edge while learning military skills. If somehow you actually pulled it off (which you wont) you would only be cheating yourself of finding your true potential inside. The mind can be a strong thing. Shit you would be way too freakin tired to want to go through the hassle of hiding that aas. Its not even worth it. Face it your going to lose weight in boot. If your not the D.I.'s will def notice after three or four weeks. Lena mena and green. Then come out of boot and get jacked.

i don't appreciate being called a liar. just cause "you" need an aas to get jacked doesn't mean all of us do. i used it to get past that natural wall. i'm no army food nutritionist as i'm sure you're not, but i know what i gained in basic training. and many others had gains.

i know others may not have gained what i did, but who the hell hears about guys coming back from the army more sickly looking than when they went in, honestly.

doesn't muscle take up less space than fat?

hey heres the best idea out of them all just dont join the army.I just got back from Afghanistan and was on gear for about the whole year and had pretty good results. If you are trying to get them in basic the best way is to have a friend send you pills in a baggie at the bottom of a foot powder bottle. But it is still risky.

Maybe if you were in the limp dick platoon first it was 12 weeks.....or unless you went to Marine recruit training by mistake. I'm not dogging on the Army, but unless I am sorely misinformed, it is 8 weeks maybe 9 with intake. But look there wasn't one person that came out of recruit training heavier than when he went in. Even if the three squares were 1000 calories each, you just burn all of that an then some. You may come out LOOKING more jacked because of lower bf%. We ran every f-ing day. Many times 3 a day. Without training with weights and all of the running combined with drills and other PT it's impossible. Yeah, not too mention San Diego and Parris Island can get pretty hot in the summer.

My drill instructor probably had a 28 inch waist and looked like a 150 pound piece of iron. He could run to the moon and back and have enough energy to kick the shit out of a man 100 pounds bigger than him. They don't give two shits if you are jacked or sickly looking. They want you to be able to rip a mans throat out. They do that by giving you an old school ass whiping on a daily basis. Anyone old enough on here to remember two a days in the summer for football and how back in the day it was a sign of weakness to get water? The coaches would shoot the water in your face instead of letting you drink it. And did anyone get bigger during two a days? But that's the mentality in the Marines, not feeding you so that feel good and can get bigger and have energy for your "workout." I call major bullshit on the 30 pounds.

yeah, i'm pretty much built like your drill sergeant. went in 135, came out a nasty 165. only guys that lost weight were the dough boys(probably u). so i guess i wouldn't have had to sustain as high a calorie count as "the dough boys". was kickin guys that lost weight azz in hand to hand. once again pretty much like your drill was kickin' yours.

not here to have a pissing contest. just know what i did in my time, and could care less what u did in yours.

This amry vs. marine shit is old. I am army infantry. Boot is 9 weeks then you go to infantry school for nine more. But that has since changed and they put both boot and AIT's together. dEPENDING on the MOS your could be longer or shorter. If you gained a ton of weight in basic it seriously was not tough enough. Did you go to benning? Anyways, I was on a marine FOB in Ramadi working with marines and going out on patrols with marines fighting to get marines who are pinned down out of danger. Blah blah blah and the funniest thing is... Marine Infantry and Army Infantry get along great. Its all the Fobbits and POG's (persons other than Grunts) that fight about oh IM marines and oh Im army. Not to hijack the thread but this shit pisses me off.
Its plain and simple Grunts no matter what service all drag their dicks in the dirt and jerk off with sand. Thats why they say if you aint Infantry you aint shit. :chomp:

Like I said boys, I'm not ragging on the Army, nor trying to get in a pissing match about Marine Recruit Training and Army basic. I was a skinny 155 in high school, right when I enlisted, and came out a skinny 145. That was 14 years ago and I thought Army basic was 8-9 weeks, I'm sorry. If anyone could have kicked the DI's ass, I would have loved to have seen it. I would have bet on him everyday of the week and doubled down on Sunday.

ARMY basic is 9 weeks. Some MOS have OUST(one station unit training). So it just one continuous(14 weeks for Infantry) block of training. The ARMY trains for the average Joe. If your above average you will not be pushed & lose weight & size in basic. It take great genetics to make solid gains on liquid eggs cooked in oil, two piesces of french toast & an ice-cream scooper of potatos. Then 3-4 oz of low quality meat & two small sides of carbs for lunch & dinner. Not to mention the 12+ hours between dinner(1730) & breakfast(0800) that there is no food intake. That was my basic experience. After that phase its not a bad lifestyle.

Ok thanks for all the input guys! I figured I'd have little chance of taking anything during basic or AIT, if I end up going like my brother did, I'll just wait till I get finished with all the training and start getting slowly jacked again when I get to a more permanent post. Also, if I go that route, I'll probably do a nice cutting stack with lots of EQ in it and end it with PCT before I go off, that way the extra RBC's should hang around for about 3 months, giving me an edge in endurance and less bodyfat and weight to lose to begin with. I figure, if guys like David Henry can get freakin' jacked and turn pro while in the Army, it certainly must be possible to juice at some point, so if I go that route I'll just wait till it's safe. Thanks for the multiple confirmations of my suspicions!

lol..ok bro so ur the only person ive ever met in the military to gain 30 lbs in basic training. ive met a ton of people while i was in the army and u always talk about basic. u are great i should bow to u. your body gains muscle when in a caloric deficit. i didnt know that was possible. we should start scientific experiments on you cause you're a freakin miricle. most of us hope to just hold on to or not lose to much muscle in that state. but u, na....you gained 30 pounds

watch yourself dude, wouldn't want guys in suits showing up at your door step saying the gov provides caloric deficient meals.;)

your reading way into this more than needs to be. the meals will support the standard height and weight class for that certain individual. as u can clearly see i was under-weight. 135 at any height in my eyes would be. i guess guys 200-250 were dropping weight like on crack. is it hard for you to understand that it doesn't take the same caloric intake for 135lb'er to gain weight as it would say a 195lb'er, now i know why ur a grunt. not to disrespect grunts, but some obviously need to be "foot soldiers".

so yes, i guess i can see the miracle in that.

Wow....I was a Forward Observer for awhile and have seen many different MOS's and I can say being Infantry is the hardest and you actually have to be the smartest. You constantly paying attention to every detail and you have to play the most dangerous game there is...out thinking the enemy. You are hunted by humans and hunting humans. Only the smartest stay alive. Sorry man but you made my CIB ( combat Infantry Badge) fucking start glowing.

As a soldier in iraq i can tell you i've never been tested nor seen anyone or even heard of anyone being tested should the suspicion come up that you are taking some form. The likelyness of them actually going out of there way to do anything is going to be more work than its worth. As far as basic goes its a joke especially in this "new army" were in AIT? also a joke last i heard they didn't even have drill sgts.
