Starting to like my body....

Thank you all so much-- and Spatts, if you're going to save this post as a "newbie-bump" post, I also want to throw in that I lift HEAVY. No low weight/high rep BS. I push myself until failure with weight that challenges me. My split right now is back/bi/tri, legs, shoulders/chest. I do 20 minutes of cardio after lifting and 3 days of 45 minute cardio on the days I don't lift. One day where I can have a cheat meal (I usually spike up my carbs) and one day to not work out.

Not eating enough and doing too much cardio will only make a person weak and tired. I see no point at all in doing 80 zillion reps of nothing-- when I work out, I want to be feeling it for at least a couple of days afterwards. I can't even tell you how good it feels to throw more weight on the bar-- strengthens my body and my ego.
 
AWESOME!! Well at least now we have one post that has someone that agrees w/ all we discuss all the time!! It works..it will always work!! Keep it up and keep us posted..you have a great positive attitude that will push you towards success...your hard work and consistency will pay off for you!!!

Pat yourself on the back gurl. This is one phrase that you will not have to say after YEARS of wasted time.

Congratulations on your progress, keep it up :)) if you ever feel yourself in need of motivation etc (i doubt you will though you seem like a strong willed charecter :) ) come to this forum, coz the ppl here are so great :))
