Make sure the bar isn't on your neck. You should have your traps pretty much fully pinched back and flexed and it should be on them. Being lean shouldn't so much be an issue. If you have paper thin traps, then you might have a problem.

That's because most personal trainers aren't bodybuilders. If you ever notice the people they train are mostly just old and fat that need to lose weight so they've got most of them doing hiit, well in my gym at least. I was watching one of the trainers show someone how to squat the other day and wanted to go over there and be like NA bro that's not how you do it....you do it like this. yeah I always wondered how they got in such good shape for their movies so quick...then I realized it was a combination of the best trainers in the world and aas lolyou are exactly right... most PT's are just salesman... atleast the ones in the franchise gyms around the country. worst thing you can do is give one your number
