What about cheerios for breakfast with light soymilk?

plain oatmeal and eggwhites are better....if your serious about your diet cheerios will not be part of your normal breakfast

Thanks. Can you explain why?Too much sugar?

mmm i love cereal especially kashi's go lean if only cereals were healthier i could eat them all day mmm

No, just because its more processed then oats are. That cereal actually is one of the better cereals I've seen from a nutritional stand point..very low in sugars, decent fiber and lower calorie. IMO, if it fits occasionally in your diet then have it. It surely will not stop you from obtaining your goals..

I think you fellas may have jumped the gyn on Kellogs Special K Protein Plus. It offers tonnes of fibre, protein, and a good dose of vitamins and minerals.

I've hit 7% bodyfat eating it (and similar cereals) 3-4 times a day.

I agree! I love the taste and i have ate it once a day for a couple of weeks at the time and it hasn't stopped me from obtaining my goals!

whatever works for you....that's the name of the game! most people will choose oats, eggwhites, grapefruit etc for breakfast....but if this is working for you then there is your answer....if your not seeing progress then it;s time to re-evaluate

I personally think its a great option for someone who is on a lower carb diet and needs to get a good amount of protein in for the day...i also agree that is is processed..but you just have to see how your body reacts to it....i personally love it..

It can't be that proccessed considering how much fibre is in it. Most processed foods have negligible amounts of fibre.
