Spatts Training Day -- Oct 4th?

Spatts,

Are you still planning on getting the crew together this weekend? That is a little too soon for me but I'd like to plan for the next one...keep me posted!

December 6th...that sounds doable. Nate, what does your calendar look like? Work will be slowing down for you anyhow, right?
 
That's some crazee shit, I once drove straight through to Billings, Montana. Got there at 2 in the morning or so, I was so disoriented I couldn't figure out how to exit a parking lot in a mall. I had to call the people we were visiting to lead us out. That was fun.

i would love to come up in december...420miles mapquest says 7hrs so that means its prolly a 5.5hr drive.:D

I couldn't believe how fast people drove when I was down there....I was doing 80 on the freeway, and was being passed like I was standing still. Semi trucks were passing me......

Well, in addition to training, we also eat, carry on conversations, hang out, and occasionally, drink beer.

I don't think a 26 hour drive is reasonable for a weekend trip...more time on the road than anything else!

Are there any cool touristy things along the way? If I can turn it into a mini-vacation it might work out. I've never driven that far east before - usually just north or northeast.

Since it's not far, I'm usually up for whenever. :) Oh, and mike, once you get close to western Kansas, there isn't much for about 7 hours besides dirt.

We have 2 powerracks so if you want to bench you can take a rack, if you want to squat/dead you can take a rack. We're easy. :)

Its only 4hrs from here(5 at the rate I drive). You guys might consider stopping off here and the 4 of us carpooling if interested.

Not a bad drive at all, but it would help to break it up a little.

I don't think the people that don't like me on EF would be at Spatt's Training Day.. LOL -- I don't even think they train. :)

Everyone on the training board is legit with the Cit. ;)

In all seriousness, if anyone wants to go I work at a restaurant called Everett's, and there happens to be one right by her place. AWESOME steak. I can get half off for a few people, if anyone is interested...

I think we are doing pot luck. I'm making lasagna, someone's making quiche (because she loves me :D ), hubby's making his famous cheese cakes, etc....

Are we doing a shirt day? I'm such a big puss right now - I need to turn it up and try to be up around 500 by then. (especially if 600 is gonna fall in February.)

BTW, Debaser, I hooked these guys up with some Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale this weekend - big hit. Good stuff.
